St. Patrick's is a great school. Our kids are receiving a top quality education at a great price. We appreciate the academic focus built on a strong moral/religious foundation. Overall, we are very pleased.

Pretty good so far but I miss my old school because I had so much freedom. We did not have a religion class or teach morals in my old school. This is different but I think I feel better as a person. It's a big change and I feel that a challenge is always a good thing because it makes you better.

Thus far, my children's experience and mine has been excellent. It has been exactly what I want for my children. I wanted a more structured, nurturing environment with a focus on both academics and character/moral development. The structure offered by this Catholic school is preparation for overcoming challenges, for adapting to structure, for inner development, for understanding and working with different cultures especially the Vietnamese and Hispanic cultures - however - it's the underlying tone and message that the school provides that is priceless and that is: We are better when we come together with a mission to make each other better. We are better when we care, when we hope and when we believe in ourselves. That's why I will remain happy that my children belong to such an environment.

Our experience was bad. We ended up regretting moving our kids here. We have always believed that school should be fun, and inquisitive minds should be encouraged not penalized but this school turned out to be exactly the opposite of what we believe a school should be.

My 2 kids have been going to St Patrick School for 3 years now. The level of education was far superior to that of a nearby public school where my older son attended for the first year. Their level of 'blended learning' incorporating traditional teaching methods, use of iPads and media, and group learning is what attracted me to this school module. The teachers, faculty and after school care program are great! There is a real sense of community with the school. The Middle school students are respectful, and there seems to be a level of decorum which i appreciate. The school can improve on fundraising events... They seem to have the same events year after year and they are not inspiring or fun. I also wish there was more of a focus on art, sports and activities. But overall, a good experience for my kids and myself. My kids are flourishing here and they won't be moving to another school any time soon!

I have had a wonderful experience at St. Patrick. From the beginning, the teachers and staff have been very supportive towards myself the parent and to my four kids. I am very grateful for the opportunity given to my family to be able to attend the school.

St. Patrick School has been worth our hustle to commute and get our daughter to school on time. We see she is learning about her Catholic faith in an empathetic, altrusitic way, thanks to the tenets of the Daughters of Charity holy order who sponsor the school. The teachers care about students' progress and hold them accountable for expanding their knowledge. Being a Drexel Inititiave School, each child quickly learns how to navigate thier issued iPad's apps and use technology to improve their problem-solving skills. The students here are recognized by the Diocese for making academic gains. To skyrocket Saint Patrick School into another stratosphere, our school can use a proper parent group, one that is empowered to use creative ways to fundraise, bring extracurricular resources, and volunteer in a fashion that meets requirements while drawing upon the strengths and talents of our diverse families. If you have experience leading movements or being a part of healthy volunteer groups, it would be an honor to work with you as we give our kids every opportunity shine together at Saint Patrick School!

One of the best K-8 schools in San Jose, Catholic or otherwise. We have been blown away with the educational quality at St. Patrick's. My kids are thriving, and we love the school's leadership. Most importantly, our kids have had absolutely marvelous teachers. It makes all the difference.

for My Deep personal experienced, This School is a Great school that I ever seen in the San Jose Community. This is small school from TK-8Grade. It located downtow San Jose. Each classroom had around 25-30 students. Three reasons, I love this school is because it was like a family, everyone cares, share, and take care each other. I love how school teach students behavior as respectful, listening, and following the direction. Especially, teach students how to disciple. For me, these charactersitics are so important for their live. When student growing up, they need these basic fundentanteal to be sucess. Once again, thank you so much for your dedication from Ms. Olga and Sister Mary whom guide the school in the right direction. Secondly, about Education, Each teach has schedules and agenda, every house, do rotation, and felexiable, Teachers and students works so hard in classroom. Teachers are very orientation, and well repair for classroom. They have homework veryday. I love their program and specially, every quater each student has to take exams call MAP test(Included, Reading, Math on computer) the goal is to assesment each students to check their levels. If your son good or bad on the subject, you are invite to see teacher one on one meeting for your son or your daughter improvement, suggestion, and inputs from parents with teachers. because, Teachers also need parents help to follow the kids and guide them in the right direction. that why, school required parents involve volunteer work at school for 40 hours services. The goals are to help parents and students communitate with each other. the last point I want to make is a safe place to let your kid stay in school. A school located in Down town San Jose, it is very secure by all parents involve in volunteer. If students late 5 minutes, you need to go to office to get a ticket in order to go to class. after 8 am, they close all the gated by volunteer parents.

I love the school, and my son loves it as well. I think that they have really good leaders, who care for children's well being and integral education. Ms. Olga Islas and Sister Mary are great administrators and care for students as well as for parent involvement. Yes, fundraising and participation are really encouraged and required. This makes tuition more affordable, so it makes sense.

And I have heard that now volunteers must go through a whole training session to volunteer at the school. STP is going to lose volunteers because the training session is repetitive and useless. If students were to finish community service hours, DO NOT do it at STP when you can go to another school another school and just sign your name to volunteer. This all started because the church burnt down and now the crazy catholic freak principal lost all trust in humanity. The church should not have burned down. The school should have burned down.

The principal at this school is a BULLY! Yes this is a suppose to be a Bully Free Zone however don't let the evil laugh from the woman of god fool you. The ratings for this school have plumaged in the last 3 years due to the new principal. There's obviously a problem if she has had to attend Anger Management courses because of her actions with a STUDENT! That should have been red flag number 1! The school is funded 100% by a charity and she still forces a set limit for donations and fund raising on families. If your child can not give money then they will not be able to participate in certain activities that cost the school nothing! This woman will tell you what your going to do rather then work with you. She has no experience working with children other then her short teaching career. This woman is not strict she is mean, evil and a straight out bullying. You can not go around yelling at children and putting your hands on children. NO EXCUSES! When you think of a private school you think of great education, reflection and learning about religion. My child comes home everyday asking me why that school. My child is to stay out of the way of Olga!! The school will go under
