Our son was diagnosed with Dyslexia and bullied by classmates at his previous school which caused depression and lack of confidence. We moved him to St. Timothy's and their amazing LEAP program. Their LEAP program is a specialized and highly intensive program for students with language-based learning difference like Dyslexia. It has made a HUGE difference. Our son has regained his confidence. He likes school again and his reading has improved exponentially. The teachers are compassionate and inspiring.

My daughter started St. Timothy’s this year and I believe it is not just one thing that makes St. Timothy’s great. Their optional evidenced-based 1:1 reading program has been perfect for my daughter’s dyslexia. With their reading program my daughter went from refusing to read out loud, saying that she was bad at reading, and exhibiting a plummeting self-esteem, to reading aloud at every opportunity, on grade level and most importantly exuding self-confidence. The mainstream programs at St. Timothy’s have been really great for her as well. This includes their differentiated math program taught in small groups, their excellent drama and music programs, and their confidence-building student council. The small class size and the collaborative project-based learning are strong educationally and have strengthened my daughter’s leadership skills and empathy toward others and the community. She enjoys chapel and relates her learning there in inspiring and engaging ways. The computer, art, and physical education classes are educational and fun for her. Other highlights are St. Tim’s award-winning book fair, parents that are involved and devoted, and a science fair that was an exciting and creative opportunity for my daughter. Excellent and caring does not begin to describe the staff and teachers of St. Tim’s. They truly teach to each child’s learning style and ability. And when changes need to happen I feel they really listen to parents and come up with good answer to concerns. I highly recommend St. Timothy’s Christian Academy!

St. Timothy's Lutheran school helped our daughter to become a very confident girl. We started at St. Tim's in Pre-4's, and by the end of the year our daughter was able to read. She continued her wonderful education through 5th grade. Learning computer skills, leadership, music, and art. She started as a shy girl not apt to give her option. By graduation she blossomed to use her voice and speak her option. St. Tim's has prepped her to success in middle school. Thanks St.Tim'a staff!

Sending our son to St. Timothy's will be one of the best investments we ever make. He started in pre-school at 3 and just completed 4th grade. He has excelled academically and scored extemely well against the state and national standards. The new leadership program partnership with Dr. Alan Nelson and KidLead is introducing our son to the character and competency components of ethical leadership while allowing students to practice skills through age appropriate activity. The computer program and partnership with Beyond Technology Education is also equipping him with foundational life skills. His class size of 10-15 students allows the staff to get to know and work with each student, and provides an environment where students can grow and flourish socially. Finally, our son is developing a very real faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. St. Timothy's has built a great culture, and has a tremendous program that helps students with language-based learning differences. The principal and pre-school director are wonderful and caring educators.

St. Timothy's is a wonderful school. First and foremost it instills in the kids a sense of community and belonging, and requires the students to maintain accountability for their actions. The staff is amazing, and are extremely creative and inclusive of the parents to form activities to enhance the traditional curriculum. The school offers impressive facilities and programs, including a computer program (starting in Kindergarten), music, art and physical education. It is also piloting a program called 'Kid Lead' which identifies and fosters leadership traits and how to enhance the types of personalities that make excellent leaders, as well as those that would support the leadership in an auxiliary/supporting role. The additional extra curricular activities are also very supportive of the entire experience. There are numerous events that bring both the school as well as the families together to share in extremely wonderful experiences. The participation of the families in the overall experience is both welcomed and really separates St. Timothy's from other schools.
