Have been with Oster for 3 years and my daughter enjoys going to her school. Teachers are always pleasant and welcoming . The community engagement is great. The school has a strong HSC board and the organization makes tremendous effort to provide students with a great experience year after year. The schools investment in PE, drama club, music classes ets provides an atmosphere for overall development. Also noticed that there is a strong academic focus with events like science fair , math kangaroo and general everyday classwork.

My kid has been going to Oster since K and we love this school. The teachers and whole community within school are so invested in the students. The HSC (home and school club) always does an amazing job to add in additional programs, events and extra classes for the students. The teachers have always provided consistent feedback and worked with us to make sure our kid is set up to have a good learning experience

My daughter has been going to the schools since pre K. Amazing teachers, dedicated to overall development and not just academics. She enjoys going to school.

Overall school is good at academics, sports and engagement. They provide adequate home work and encourage kids to read everyday at home. They provide access to various educational apps. They also run monthly quiz on English , maths and science.

Everything has changed at this school more specifically after Covid. Some of the teachers especially 3rd grade and above are very rude and disrespectful to parents. They don’t make the environment pleasent for students if you happen to not fit within the box. They easily target you and ensure the rest of the year is difficult. We faced several unfortunate incidents and last was our student that was always overachiever academically previous years, for their grades to drop.

Too strict and rude of a school, I used to go there and I came back home crying almost every day.

My child does not like this school and he is always shy. I convince him to go talk to people and make friends but he does nothing.

My daughter has been going to this school since K and we enjoy every moment of it. the school has great teachers, a good science and arts program and effectively deals with student problems. it also has a strong Home school Club that does a lot of wonderful activities in school.

The teachers are mostly good and my kids all love their teachers (I have a few kids in this school). I can’t say the same for the principal though. She is quick to judge and does not show the same empathy as the teachers. My son requires some help in his learning, and in the parent session, the principal gave me the impression that she wished my son is not in her school. In fact I think the character flaws in the principal is being covered by the excellent teachers.

I had a great experience with my both kids for couple of years. The teachers are great and the principal is very good with everybody and takes care of everything by herself.

Great school and school district. I'm really glad we got to get an Intradistrict Transfer, its been a blessing. My daughter has been attending here since Kindergarten and is now in fourth grade and she has been excelling each year. They offer a wide variety of activities and enrichments,

Oster is an outstanding elementary school; my husband and I are thrilled with not only the education but the nurturing environment of the school. My son has had an excellent experience as a transfer student. He was welcomed and made to feel at home. Over the last three years, each of his teachers have consistently created a warm nurturing environment making students feel comfortable and enjoy going to school each day. My son is also thriving academically. Thank you Oster teachers, administrators and staff! You are the best of the best!

Oster is a winning school, it offers almost everything a child needs to grow up with an open mind and established academics. The teachers are involved, in class and after class for children who need to extra attention, the parents are involved to help, donate, support in class rooms and during enrichment programs, the library has wide open doors, the principal is available and dedicated. As a parent, it is very reassuring. This is also a great school were kids come in all shapes and colors, share their culture and help each other. This is so hard to teach, but Oster does. Oster might not have the funds to provide as much as other schools, but us parents and other donors bring in Science lab, reading tools, a Chorus every week, Art every month, music and more.

My children have moved to this school for two years now and we just love this school. Teachers and staffs are very engaged and supportive! Now they are allowing to have more after school programs in the school which is wonderful as parents do not have to drive the kids around for their activities.

Love, love love Oster. Supportive and dedicated teachers. Teachers give ours kids a challenging amount of homework, but I know it's just preparing them for middle school and beyond. A beautiful combination of nurturing and firm discipline.

The school is overrated. If you are not from the community or have connections within the school your child is looked upon as an outcast.

Our school was recently granted The distinguished school Award. I'm so proud to be a part of this school and community. I was on the parent panel to answer questions regarding our school and principal practices. I learned so much from the experience and it just makes me even happier to be part if this school and community!

My son is going into 3rd grade and has had the best kindergarten, first, and second grade teachers ever. He needed extra support because of a learning disability and the principal and resource teacher had him tested immediately and receiving the services he needed in order to succeed. The new principal will listen to your concerns. The entire staff is caring, friendly and supportive. We love Oster!
