HATE HATE HATE HATE!!!! I used to go here as a student, and there were absolutely NO POSITIVES!!! School does nothing about bullying, and finds some sort of way to completely humiliate you! This school gave me trauma, not only from the students but from the teachers too! I 100% do not recommend this school. I've been to four schools now, and none of them are nearly as bad. And I'm not a bad kid, considering I am now the leader of my school as a student council President, and a proud member of NJHS. This school 'learns a few grades ahead', and will NOT help your child if they are struggling because it's a sudden jump in learning, but instead shame you and your child for it!! They also will take your money from their expensive school uniforms!! DONT GO HERE!!

I used to go there and I moved in Mt second grade year and I left not knowing how to do anything and my second grade year was full of trying to catch up to the other students because this school didn't teach me anything.

Wicomico Day School is the perfect School for a strong foundation. It is a small, family-like atmosphere. Teachers are passionate and actually get to teach, rather than teach to test. Great communication with families, a variety of fun events, amazing field trips, and politics are left out of the classroom. My child has thrived at WDS and I feel he is well prepared for high school.

This school is amazing and helps all their kids feel equal and able to be successful. The teachers are incredible and there is NO FAVORITISM like I have seen in other schools.

I go to this school, and as a student, I say this is one of the worst schools I've been to. They do nothing about bullying, and when they do, the victim gets punished as well. They truly want your money, as suspending or expelling would cost them money (aka tuition fees), and this I find to be very confusing, as I've gotten punched square in the face, and they punished me for it.

The teachers are very passionate about what they do. The kids all receive a lot of love and care and seem to enjoy going to school. The class sizes are small as you go higher. It is a positive environment for all. Lots of activities and interesting events are always happening there.

Please do not send your child to this school. There was a time it was wonderful, but I would not trust the Administrator to watch my dog....

My daughter has been attending this school for two years now and I have yet to see the positives that the other reviewers are mentioning. My child is not challenged at all in this school. They well fall short on their promises of keeping parents informed and keeping their website up to date. If you are looking for a school that offers kids a chance to learn using modern technologies, this is not it. This school's "computer lab" looks like it hasn't been upgraded in ten years. The front desk staff is rude and doesn't want to be bothered with answering questions.

The breadth of the student experience: music, academic, physical, & technology is balanced. Students are exposed to a wide range of arts, sciences, history, and more. The curriculum is challenging and the teachers readily adapt to the needs of the individual student with manageable student to teacher ratios.

WDS has the best education in this area...The core knowledge program that they use are used in NY schools...Our children these days need as much knowledge as possible...They have a long road ahead of them and this school will get them there

My daughter has attended WDS since kindergarten (she's now in third grade). The core knowledge curriculum is content rich and the teachers are given the freedom to deliver the material in creative ways. The entire school has an energetic and positive vibe, and the teachers are incredibly dedicated, talented, and involved parents themselves. My daughter is thriving here. A safe, controlled, and respectful learning environment that does not get dragged down by the bureaucratic nonsense and watered-down "standards" of No Child Left Behind. This is a wonderful gem of a school and highly recommended.
