I have had one child in the school since preK through grade 4 and have been very happy overall. I do feel the teachers are dedicated and work hard especially because class sizes in the lower school are large (25-29 at times). Our child has ADD and so the attention and support from the teachers have been great. There is always feedback on her work and early in the year this is very constructive. I do not feel my child would have this attention in any of the local public schools which are nationally and state ranked quite low. In fact, this school is probably the only reason I still live in this region. I am not sure if we will stay for high school as it is a smaller school and may not be able to offer all of the activities and social interactions other high schools may. Also, the school has been extremely supportive throughout the pandemic, closing only at the outset but open through fall of 2020-2022 with before and aftercare for working parents. This has been incredible where other schools have closed with all of the notable loss of academics and social interactions.

We had multiple children at this school. The experience was variable child to child and year to year. They had a focus on a sense of community but at the expense of the education. We left due to concerns with the quality of the education and have not regretted it.

Amazing experiential learning at TSS. My children are so happy there and are progressing above and beyond their grade level. Teachers are engaged and communicative...could not be better!

Fantastic staff and leadership. Excellent education for the price.

Wonderful school. I have 3 kids there. Very loving, open atmosphere. Hands-on learning. They teach academics excellently, yes, but more so they teach a love of learning and promote an inquisitive nature and confidence. It is not just about the grades here, it's about turning kids into honorable adults.

Poor leadership overall. Poor academics and average to below average teachers. Better education at Worchester Prep or local public schools.

I give 2 stars for this school. Overall rating just ok, nothing above and beyond for elementary/lower school. Teachers feel overwhelmed and don't care for the kids because of a big class (25 kids at least/ class), Only have 1 class/grade. So, you can't go anywhere if you're not happy with the teacher. Tuition is very high, financial aid doesn't much of a help, and tuition doesn't cover everything (book bag must buy from school, uniforms change/grade must buy from school, field trips very costly, and little unnecessary things that school require student to buy, etc). So, you need to have extra thousands dollars beside the tuition itself. The school open 4 days/week instead 5 days/week. So, the kids don't learn enough from school, and the parents have to pay the whole week without a discount. And, the elementary/lower head person is not much of a help either. I would not recommend this elementary/lower school.

Excellent school. Excellent teachers. The teachers really care for each student. The student is free to learn in an atmosphere without judgement or shame.
