As a former actual student who graduated this LGBTQIA WOKE indoctrination center. Can affirm they lack the ability to teach children the NECESSARY information needed for high school. Putting most children behind when they graduate. The staff is caring but not about the work, about the idea of work. This is how you make liberals who don't think on their own. They place feelings above facts they put a higher price on learning abstract things than NEEDED things like math and science. Learning to sing and dance and draw is a MAJOR part of the curriculum. Yet not helpful in high school or life. 5-8th graders are subject to baby sitting duties and told it helps them learn by babysitting the younger students. Not having enough staff at any time is a common theme. Children with behavioral issues are NEVER separated from the other children. Do not send your kids here..

The Phoenix School is a truly unique learning environment, and the passion and dedication of the teachers are unparalleled. It has been amazing to see how their hands-on approach has fostered a genuine excitement for the learning process. As our son wraps up his third year at the school we continue to be impressed by his progress, both academically and socially, and we've also been thrilled to see him making meaningful connections with his classmates of all ages. If you're exploring your options for schools on the North Shore, you owe it to your child to come take a tour of Phoenix and see for yourself what makes it so special.

Experiences with past schools felt like we were dealing with bullying or social status more than learning. Our kids didn't want to go to school. The Phoenix school changed everything. Now our kids love school, each day is an adventure, and they are learning real world problem solving, creativity, collaboration, leadership and empathy. The unique approach took some getting used to, but we see it building a deep love of learning in our kids that is preparing them for the future. Yes it's small, yes it's unconventional, and it might be the best kept secret on the North Shore– check it out.

My son graduated from the Phoenix in 2012 and very was well equipped to deal with all facets of high school: curriculum, students & teachers. We have been thrilled with the broad and diverse education afforded by The Phoenix School, which includes life skills, community service, and mentoring as well as academics. They integrate creativity, curiosity and collaboration into their curriculum and emphasize analysis and critical thinking rather than regurgitating of facts on a test. My daughter will graduate from Phoenix next year, and although we will no longer have a student here - we will always be a Phoenix School family.

This is what I love about The Phoenix School- 1- The teachers have multiple degrees and years of experience. The teachers really know my child's learning style and personality and help them become the amazing individuals they were meant to be. 2-The school is structured in a way that inspires children to learn, they are eager for input and invested in learning. The teachers are able to creatively engage children and give them independence and responsibility to make choices. This has empowered my kids to take their education to whole different level. Its "cool" to be smart at Phoenix! 3- Teachers accommodate my gifted child to advance while staying within her peer group. They also accommodate my other child's challenges by offering choices and empowering her to take responsibility for her education. 4- It's the only school that is really successful with global learning, they Skype with classrooms around the world and learn about different cultures. It's amazing! 5- All the graduates have a solid foundation to take into high school and they all transition well into a variety of competitive high schools on the North Shore and in Greater Boston. I'm in love with this school!
