My child was getting bullied in this school and they just didn’t do anything, and everytime it was the same kids bullying him and it’s honestly disappointing how the school handles situations like these

I have became very disappointed over the last couple of years. Maple lane is not the same school it was years ago. There is a lot of bullying in this school and there is no consequences. I'm ready to take my children out of this school. This school is the worst now. They used to rate at 10 now it's a 4. That says alot.

Maple Lane is a hidden gem! My children love their teachers and have made great friends! The balanced calendar is also a big plus for continued learning.

We are new to the school. Everyone seems pleasant and is always smiling and greeting at the door. They know most of the children by name, as well as the involved parents. My son came home last week and said he wishes he could stay at this school all the way through college. I also like how they accommodate each child on their individual level, including special needs. As a parent my favorite part is the free breakfast and lunch.

I feel this school has some issues and if you are not in the click your opinion does not matter. I also feel these children are being treated like robots, when you have a child under a certain age they want to move, talk and have fun, understand there is a time for that, but from what I learned this year children were not aloud out a lunch time, because parents were not dressing there children with the weather condition,so the children who were dressed correct also was not able to go out and play,I don't feel this was fair to the children, they need to blow off steam. I feel some things are not as they seem, you talk with the teacher you are being told one thing, but what you here from your child is something completely different! My child is not a robot he has a very intelligent mind, very interesting and willing to learn, but to constantly pick out the childs faults and pointing them out is only giving the child more reason not to like school. I understand rules, and so does my child, just how far withdrawn and unhappy are you willing to make the children to get them to do as you ask,I think you teachers need to figure out another approach to get the children motivated!

This is truly a community based school with teachers who are helpful and caring! They go through extremes to engage their families including: Welcome back to school social, Hot dog dinner, bring your parent to school day, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, a Father-Daughter Princess Ball and most recently, the Mother-Son Super Hero night! Which I must say was an absolute BLAST!! The principal and assistant principal are visble, approachable, fair and involved! Not to mention Mrs. Elaine, who will be missed!! Keep up the great work Maple!

Maple Lane has absolutely been a blessing not only in the lives of my two children, but myself as well. Every teacher/staff member that I have had the pleasure of getting to know is dedicated, and enthusiastic about the children that the help raise. The principle and VP are also extremely pleasant! The "intersessions" are a blessing because they allow for vacation time throughout the regular school year and taking off is not mandatory so they can come to school if parents still need to work on those days. Here at Maple Lane we are a little family and I can't even imagine sending my children to any other school. If you are looking for a intimate, close knit family like setting to become apart of than Maple Lane is the correct place for you and your children! Come check it out!

Maple Lane is like family to us. My children are excited to be at school on a daily basis because they know that all the staff cares for them. Both of my children score above grade level in academic areas and I have the wonderful staff there to thank for continuously challenging them by setting high standards . The balanced calendar is awesome. The kids get two weeks built in to school year where they can experience a variety of activities (STEM club, build a bike, karate, cooking, knitting, and golf to name a few) with students in other grades. Intersession is a wonderful opportunity for students to make new friends and experience new activities. They don't lose out on summer vacation, they win because of the experiences they gain during intersession. By the first week of August my kids are ready to return to school and see their friends, as many kids are, and at Maple Lane they get the opportunity to do this. If you pass up an opportunity to attend Maple Lane, you are passing on so many wonderful experiences.

Maple families- We recently started using a website called greatschools.org, which is a website that provides reviews and useful information about different schools. We are asking our wonderful Maple Families to provide our school with feedback and information that could be useful for future families! We look forward to reading all of the great reviews!

As parents, we are very happy with the education our son is receiving at Maple Lane Elementary. The Principal and Assistant Principal's involvement with the children is noteworthy.

Worst school ever. My child comes home every night crying because of the other kids pick on her and make fun of her. I talked to the school and they blamed my child. I also know three other parents who took their children out of this school because of bullying problem and the school did nothing.

Maple Lane is an amazing school! I have two children there and I must say that I have not one complaint about this establishment. Every teacher has been amazing and dedicated to their students. Maple Lane makes you feel like you're a part of their family and when my children leave to go to middle school it is going to be a sad bitter sweet day. That school will truly be missed!

Maple Lane is a wonderful school. The school is led by a smart, caring and effective principal. The school uses positive reinforcement and a reward system that motivates the children to excel both academically and as a person. The school is very clean and has a surprisingly attractive interior. The classrooms are clean, comfortable and inviting to the students. The PTA is led by some very committed parents, who keep all PTA activities on track and progressing.
