Jefferson is definitely racist; overt and "unconscious" bias. I'm selling my home just to get away from this school. I cannot handle another interaction with any of this staff.

I was trying to find my new school to the review bc there really funny so might as well write a review used to go there it was pretty good they just need to make breezeway longer than two 5 mins also some teachers we sexist of boys and girls with was messed up and don't get me started on the pizza but the teacher a very nice and I was lucky and got great teachers so if you are looking for a new school Jefferson is a good choice just watch out for the P.E teachers

I recently started working at Jefferson, and it is such an I crei me working environment. The staff supports one another, and the kids. Students are our first priority and we do whatever we can to help them be successful, not only in the classroom, but out in the world as well. Teachers are passionate about what they do and students are taught not only the curriculum, but also life skills and social skills that they can take with them wherever they go. Jefferson is a great place to be!

I have worked at many districts and schools in my career. Jefferson and SCSD stands out for amazing reasons. Jefferson has an amazing staff that cares for one another and for its students. Our principals show amazing support and love each day. Ever heard of St. Charles LOVE AWARDS. Google it and see just a spark of amazing things that happen at Jefferson. I am a proud teacher and once a student myself, at Jefferson! Love my community and school.

I have only been a teacher at Jefferson for a year, but it has been incredible. The teachers and other staff all work very hard to do the best for each student. Administration is very supportive of the staff and they handle situations at school very quickly.

I have worked at Jefferson for 12 years and the staff and administration is outstanding! Students are loved, encouraged to take risks, and held to a high standard of learning.

Despite what you are told, there is NO RECESS. If they get in line to eat first and cram the food down their throats, they may get 5 min of “recess”. Have lunch with your child and see for yourself. Children are disciplined for accidents and even because of teacher incompetency (I picked my son up Friday while they were lined up to leave- office staff got him for me- on Monday he was threatened with suspension for “leaving class”. They brought up an incident from 2nd grade and were very degrading. No apology. Pure prison camp.

Like the new principal very much. Looks like the school is starting to be more college preparatory focused - can't start early enough! It seems Math and Science are finally getting more attention too.

Jefferson Intermediate, St. Charles Allows LGBT students to be bullied here by staff and students. Some of the teachers spend their days surfing the internet and shopping instead of teaching. There are some very good teachers, but the bad ones have very little supervision.
