This school is very City of St. Charles School District. The teachers work here for Tiktok and Instagram pumpkin spice posts or begrudgingly because they can't do anything else (one teacher marked my child straight zeros without viewing his online assignments, you should not have to babysit the teachers for them to to their job). They make too many tax payer dollars to fail the way they are. All of the money is spent on building upgrades instead of programs or nullifying fees.

as a student at this school it wasn't a warming experience. I would be bullied by both 7th and 8th graders. I would be barked at, I would be harassed, and threats would also be yelled at me. threats were also sent to the school. the teachers were weird, the food wasn't great, and tbh the learning experience wasn't great either. none of the teacher would do anything to help and the principals wouldn't do anything either plus they weren't that good except for Dr. Diggs. if anything don't let the school make you think that it's good because it's really not. in fact the school is very draining to almost everyone's mental health, you're expected to way too much stuff. if you're a parent, I'm saying this in the most respectful way ever, don't let your child go to this school. it's horrible and multiple incidents have happened at this school and it isn't talked about enough. and now going to this school as an 8th grader I really hope to see this school improve and actually make itself better instead of lying and not helping kids make better of themselves.

No water bottles, no backpacks, assigned seating on bus, LUNCHROOM and class, NO FREE TIME, only allowed a bathroom break if you have a “coupon” with you and only 3 min in between classes. My kids came home starving and in need of a toilet. When children get in trouble, many boundaries are crossed by the principal. I was called 5 times regarding a found bullet but never notified about the graduation ceremony....

My son has many learning disabilities and the staff at Hardin provided support, encouragement and understanding for my son. The guidance staff was outstanding supporting my child if he had problems. A wonderful school with wonderful teachers!

0.5/10. The principals need to calm down. The teachers need to take their jobs more seriously. The school is falling apart. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO PARENTS AT ALL.

The teachers are great but the principals don't do nothing about bullying

Emerging strengths in curriculum, instruction and new grading system - forward thinking. Many opportunities for the arts and cultural learning from art, pottery, music, orchestra, band and drama to three foreign languages and world cultures not typical at this grade level. Newer committment to growing PTO and community involvement activities. Committment to technology as a learning tool Strong committment to student leadership and character development.
