Worst experience ever. Transferred my child from a public school during Covid so that he can be taught in person. He was never made to feel welcome. He was bullied and threatened multiple times. Complained to the principal and teachers. Nothing was ever done about it. For a private school, the academics were substandard. The public school had the best teachers. The academics and student involvement were so much better at District 54. Don’t waste your money here. Not worth it.

Trinity is everything you want in a school. There’s a wonderful sense of community, the academics are superb, and the students simply adore their teachers because they’re the best of the best. The class sizes are small, so every student gets the attention they need, and all grades K-8 experience art, Spanish, physical education, and music, with theater and sports available as early as third grade. The preschool program is outstanding and transitions seamlessly into kindergarten, so children are ready for that next step into school. Most importantly, Jesus is at the center, and children learn about their Savior along with their ABCs and 123s. Trinity is worth every penny. It’s better than a vacation, I promise. My girls have thrived so much here and were met where they were (one is more outgoing and one is more shy), and I can’t wait to see them grow more at Trinity.

To say Trinity Lutheran School is head and shoulders above the rest would be a huge understatement. I have enjoyed watching my kids throve socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically for the past several years. If you want your child to attend a school that functions more like a family with small class sizes, constant family engagement, and social outreach- look no further!

strong academics but the overall vibe and teaching ways of some and they way people are treated disappoints me for how much this school proclaims itself to be.

My Son has attended Trinity since pre-school and he is now in 3rd grade. We have found the environment at the school to be kind and caring as well as great for learning. It seems most of the Teachers in the school are friendly and know my Son by first name, can't beat that type of environment. I have been amazed at the knowledge my Son has picked up already. So far each Teacher we have had has been great! They offer in school private music lessons, affordable after school care and a wonderfully fun Summer camp. No complaints!

I went to this school for 7 years and it was awful. This school treats students terrible and is against free speech and differing opinions. The teachers I have dealt with seemed pretty sexist and unfair to the male students. They would give extra treatment to the girls and yell at boys. I got in referall during recess because me and my friend were racing our spit on the wall.

Wonderful preschool option. My son is 4 and does the full day option. He loves it. He started the year barely able to write his name and now he is so close to reading. The teacher is extremely calm and there is always an aide to help out. They love parent volunteers so I feel like I can get a small taste of what his day is like when I get to volunteer. The teacher has great communication and sends out a weekly update as well as posting it online. I feel like my son will have a great headstart on kindergarten from his year of preschool at Trinity.

Amazing teachers, parents, students! You walk into the building and you know that the student's best interest is at heart. Communication with parent and teachers has been wonderful. My daughter LOVE Trinity and is excited every day to go to school there!

We highly recommend checking out another school. Communication is terrible. It is also very expensive and you do not get any value. The teachers can be very mean to the students. I actually saw one roll their eyes at a student for crying during lunch. It was awful. There is bullying and teachers have no interest in helping the kids to navigate the social part of school. The pastor is also running the show and the principal is powerless to do anything.

Like the other review, this school talks a big game about preventing bullying yet does nothing to stop it - including informing parents of situations that occur. This is our last year at this school. Practice what you preach.

Amazing school. Top quality academics, religious education, after school activities. This is the school to be at. The teachers are dedicated and your children will be highly successful in high school

We are leaving this school. This past year and this upcoming year has already shown us that Trinity is not what it was at one time. Since the previous principal was forced out, the school has been unorganized and in chaos. The teachers seem lost without a leader and the church has taken control and lead it down a terrible path. I could not recommend this school any longer after being there for many years.

Please read this if you are considering Trinity Lutheran in Roselle, IL. I speak from a middle school child's perspective. There is a new principal who is a kind man who listens and empthathizes with you but can not make changes tangible. Please ask about how bad the bully problems they have and what they do to fix them. 2014 was the first year they've done a survey to all the parents and staff. The results are shockingly horrible. The middle school teachers don't like each other and treat the kids disrespectful. This may have been a great school but at this point, things need to change. Ask how old the childrens textbooks are (outdated). Please ask how the teachers demonstrate love and forgiveness as mentioned in their school's website. I also challenge you to look for the schools overall grades to compare them to other schools you may be considering.

My daughter has been going there since 2nd grade. She loves it, the teachers are awesome. The kids and friendly and there is parent participation. The leadership at this school is outstanding and all of the staff are very attentive to the students needs. I love the split classrooms and my ONLY concern is what will I do for HS since no other school will compare.

Each of my four children have been blessed by a Trinity education. The "Differentiated Education" philosophy treated each of my children individually and helped them succeed. Almost all of the students achieve the honor roll at Lake Park High School. Music, art, drama and band are excellent along with a great athletic program. Each classroom has a SmartBoard and the use of technology is stressed in the classroom. Instruction is geared individually for each student and students are assessed four time a year using MAP testing (Measures of Academic Progress) to help the student, parent and teacher understand the individual learning needs of each student. My children have excelled in high school and beyond based on their Trinity education.
