BMS provides so many options for my student. Advanced classes, sports, clubs, and tutoring as needed. The school is clean and has been updated over the last 2 years. They are now switch to be a 7-8 building while the other middle school will become a 5-6 elementary. WHS will now be a true High School as a 9-12 building. Teachers and administrators work with family’s to help all students.

The leadership at this school is not responsive to following up with parents. I've been trying to have me child, who's been diagnosed with ADD, enrolled in the IEP (Individual Education Program) and after several attempts the Vice Principal and Principal will not return my emails or phone calls. When I first met with the Vice Principal, she recommend increasing medication and said she would follow up with the teachers & provide me updates via email. I was not provided updates in any form from the leadership . Very disappointed in this school. I'm going to look for a school that takes better care of their students with special needs and not just recommend more medication.

I have had nothing but problems with this school. They do not follow the policies they have in place or are constantly changing them to fit their needs. The "no tolerance" bully policy is a joke at this school. I had to call several times and finally had my childs lunch changed after threatening to have her removed from the school, only to have Ms Holder out the child in question in my child's lunch yet again just a few weeks later. Calls are not returned, I guess they think you will forget about it and go away ? Mr Addelman needs to retire as he has no patience for the kids and I in turn have no patience for him. He is the biggest bully the school has. The principle is a joke. He will not return your calls and will not address a situation unless made to and Ms Holder, one of the counselors, is the biggest waste of space to even begin to call herself one. The staff simply does not care at all. My youngest WILL NOT be attending this school. I do not care where I have to drive him, I can not do another two years of this dysfunction.
