Great school… my son has adhd and in other schools they couldn’t help with his academic goals! Here they provided great help and leadership when it came to getting my son into a 4 year college

The worst school if you actually want to learn. I did not learn anything while attending this school. I wouldn't even classify these teachers as "real teachers"

My son was turned away because he has autism, and is not "high functioning" enough. He is only in Kindergarten. Basically filled out useless paperwork, than had a 45 meeting where the principal and special education director explained to us that they could not meet our needs because my son's previous IEP recommends a special day class. Well of course it does becaus we didn't discuss homeschooling at our last IEP. Our son hasn't succeeded in that environment, and we are looking for an alternative. Unfortunately the principals explaination was that unless my child with autism can converse about his homeschooling she has no other way to "prove" he is getting his lessons. We offered to video record. Apprarently an IEP team can recommend that a child is put in the most restrictive environment regardless of whether they make progress or now, and parents are bound to that. Strangley, my son doesn't have the right to access the charter homeschooling resources other students can apparently. Warning to other parents: don't waste your time here if you child has special needs and is not "high functioning'".

We have an appointment today with our son's teacher. We will be getting ideas for the best ideas on what to use for our very bright little 5 year old. My husband and I have decided on doing a literal home schooling to keep our kids out of the actual public influence. We would like to keep our children innocent as long as possible! Thank you Pathways Charter School!
