Maybe ... perhaps there was 5 days of the school year where my child wasn't sick. Repeated injuries at school untill I spoke out. Teacher plays favorites despite excelling in working with others my child was given low marks after the teacher beaming about it at parent teacher conferences. TK didn't expect my child to be bullied at all muchless repeatedly by the same classmate. No parking to drop off or pick up kids. Teachers will often keep kids an extra 5 to 10 minutes. I don't they sanitize class rooms at all muchless daily. As they should be. They don't send sick kids home they let the entire class get sick repeatedly. Too concerned about attendance than the wellbeing of the children. Often half the class was missing . Parents dropping off sick kids and seeing those same sick kids come out at the end of the day knowing my child would be next then the rest of the family. This has put our home under significant emotional and finacial strain.

I love Evergreen for the amazing teachers who work to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, who are eager to implement research based methods to help children learn and be successful, and who are willing to collaborate on parents to help children thrive. The administration supports the teachers, which is obvious in the happy and collaborative atmosphere of the school.

Parents, teachers staff are a great community. The school has recently undergone a technology, exterior and playground update. Total enrollment is currently around 550 so it has a smaller feel. They also offer traditional or year round programs to suit child and parent needs.

I completely agree with the previous review regarding kids with IEPs and special needs. I would go so far as to say they are either completely ignorant to federal IDEA laws or hope that the parents are so they won't have to follow them. Not only do they break laws, promises, disregard private assessments, disregard items written in the IEP's, but there is always the undercurrent that IEPs are just a pain in their backsides.

We have had nothing but problem with this school since we transferred here. My child is in the autistic spectrum and i dont feel that this school properly accommodates its disabled children. At this time my child no longer attends this school because after repeatedly trying to work with the IEP (individual education plan) team and them makeing broken promises we finally had enough. I would seriously reconsider sending any child here that has a disabilty. You will have to fight for your childs rights! On a possitive note the teachers are very nice and do care for the students.

I have a son in high school who attended Evergreen and I currently have a son in Kindergarden at Evergreen. The teachers at Evergreen have a lot of passion for teaching as well as a lot of patients with the children that need a little extra energy. The principle is out every morning greating parents as she makes sure we are parking in the right area. I could not ask for a better environment for my children to learn and grow in.
