Sped program is absolutely horrible and gave me horrible anxiety and a phobia of schools

My son is in his 4th year at RES and it has been a wonderful school. Every teacher is kind, caring and nurturing. The STEM emphasis is woven throughout the curriculum and kids spend regular time in the STEM lab. The building is older and then he classrooms are a little cramped but the quality teaching makes up for it. My only complaint is that the teachers we’ve had so far all give too much homework which goes against current research into learning in children.

Our two daughters went through Rogers Elementary and did great! The teachers were involved and caring. A great team of teachers and support staff. The STEM program has evolved over the years, offering lots of hands on involvement, project after project. A school garden was added a couple years ago, my kids loved it! We sincerely appreciate everything Rogers Elementary did for our little ones. Thank You!

We've sent two boys through this school. Every teacher they've had has been very good to excellent. We've heard a few complaints but not many. Our only major beef is the lack of music programs.

This school is HORRIBLE!! Rogers was ranked the number one place to raise kids but is SURE wasn't because of this school. Parents all around me are constantly complaining about school principal. Students remain in Targeted Services year after year after year and are always playing catch-up because instruction, materials and facilities are out dated! This place needs a wake up call! And a STEm school? That's a complete joke!

The city of Rogers is an excellent community but unfortunetly this school didnt meet the same outcomes. Lack of leadership = foxes running the hen house. Low leadership involvement causes everyone to be doing something different. Consistency, nope! Targeted and intentional, nodda! If your child has ANY specific needs or attention, run!

Great school! The teachers are AMAZING! Rogers was named the "Best City to Raise Kids" in Minnesota in 2013 and this school has a LOT to do with it! They consistently have terrific testing scores and they seem to hire only the best teachers in the state! They are very caring and the students feel so comfortable there. I can't say enough good things about this school!

Terrible school! Teachers are "nice", but instruction is antiquated and poor. Principal in uninvolved. So many parents never start in district 728, and I wish I wouldn't have either.
