Absolutely amazing school! It's not often you find a school where all the teachers and staff truly care about each student as an indivual. Our education system leaves most schools flawed by their focus on only test scores. There is much more to education than that and this school gets it. They teach about communication, emotional intelligence, and community in addition to using effective methods and partnerships for the classroom education.

If you are looking for a school that values your child for who they are individually, MELA is for you. They know who you are and they know what your children like and how they learn best. Our family feels really glad to be a part of this community. My child came from a school where there were 34 kids in her class and the teacher barely knew who she was. Since she moved schools, we can see in her the joy for learning and how respected and valued she is with everything she does in school.

10/10 stars. The staff is amazing, and the school feels like family. One of my kids has a gluten sensitivity, and the school went above and beyond to make sure there were appropriate meals and snacks for him. Any concerns I had we're dealt with quickly, and my kids are all performing at or above grade level after entering below grade level. I highly recommend MELA.

This school is the worst I have ever seen, I do not think it will last another year. I have been repeatedly talked down to by the principle and her assistant.
