Beautiful campus with many extras, great location in the community and allot of awesome staff. We have been very disappointed in the principal's lack of compassion or willingness to support struggling students. Very poor administrative over site.

3/10 because, of the bullying and discrimination ive faced from this school . Whitney High School does not 1. cater to ones. 2. blames the victim for getting bullied . and 3. they dont punish anyone. *Also I will add the fact that kids here sell and use drugs non stop, And weapons have been brought to campus such as tasers, knifes, lighters, homemade shanks and much more which is scary if youre looking for a good school for your child WHITNEY HIGH SCHOOL IS NOT IT*~ A senior class of `21

I am fine with how the school year has been. I have kept my 4.0 last semester and I am trying to keep it again this semester. I am only in 9th grade but I can say Whitney High School is better than Rocklin High. I went to Rocklin High the first 3 days to see what the hype was about and was disappointed. The campus was small and rusty and did not feel like it met my needs. What annoyed me the most were most Rocklin High teachers. Most of them are much older and are more focused on their coming days of retirement than teaching the class. Whitney teachers are much newer which has some cons due to their inexperience. But they are more motivated to teach than Rocklin High teachers.

Not happy campers.Very concerned about the weapons, drugs and violence on campus.Would like to see a much more solution oriented group running this site.

We feel very violated and disappointed. There is a disturbing lack of ethics among certain leaders at this school and absolutely no interest from the district in correcting or even addressing the issues. We do not feel our kids are safe at this school and aim to move this Summer so our teens are in an appropriate educational setting.

The reports of extreme violence and prescription as well as illegal drugs being freely offered to our freshman are heart breaking. We bring our youth to this campus so they may be educated, and expect them to be protected in that process. We strongly recommend investing time in making wrongs right, rather than retaliating because errors by staff have been brought to your attention. This school belongs to the community and to the families of students attending,we take pride in the school and hate speaking words that are less than flattering. However our children must be safe, facts relating to their time there must be recorded honestly, and corruption on campus can not be tolerated, regardless of how high a position one holds at the school or with the district.Focusing on solutions and safety would go a very long way at Whitney.

No parent or guardian wants to be at odds with school staff or administration. And they should never have to worry about their student being made to suffer because they have sought improvements. This campus has some work to do when it comes to responding to their students guardians effectively and without retaliating. Those placing students in this school must be able to trust staff working with them. Please put an end to the vindictive responses to parents voices who simply want their students kept safe!Whitney High school has always had a reputation for great teachers and lots of learning.Let's return to that sacred setting.

I live in Rocklin and have loved the elementary school experience. Regarding Whitney High School, it seems there is an issue with violence, drugs and vapes. Freshman are so vulnerable and it is just too easy for the older kids to lure them in. I have heard enough (from people I know, as well as reviews I have read) about the administration at this school retaliating against those who complain or bring issues to their attention that I would not feel comfortable speaking to them about anything. That is not a good feeling. I really hope these reviews are taken seriously and these things are looking into. Our children need to feel safe.

This school is very unfair to students.Athletes can fight and even take out weapons during a game with no punishment, yet students that staff don't like are attacked and punished for everything they do that is less than perfect.Kids get "set up"all the time.Several special needs students have had restraining orders filed against them by other families at staff's suggestions for things they did not do. Bottom line, there are a couple bad apples in the staff barrel so watch your student and their files!

Our girls loved their former school and are miserable at Whitney, the school caters to a small select group of students and fails others.

Excellent — a great deal of opportunity to challenge kids academically, athletically, and all around. I know that my daughter will absolutely be prepared for college upon graduation in 2021.

Whitney High School is an immature school with horrible, irresponsible teachers who do not teach and even fail you for no reason at all. The environment is full of drugs and alcohol, while the students here are mostly entitled, rich brats that think they are better than everyone else. Through many experiences I’ve had at this school I can clearly say that no student should ever be forced to try to “learn” in such horrible conditions.

Having my third son now a Sophomore at WHS- I have to say that I couldn't be more pleased with the level of education, sports and school activities. Administration and teachers seem to do a great job with their respective duties.

Absolutely outstanding school! The kids are good, overachieving kids, there is very minimal drug use which seems to be a very big problem at Lincoln High School. The kids are very respectful and are college-bound. I recommend this school to anyone in the area.

As a student I loved going to Whitney. The teachers are great at their jobs and there is so much to get involved with. The school spirit is phenomenal. I just finished my first year of college and I feel that Whitney High prepared me for the rigors and challenges of college.

I have a freshman at Whitney and so far, he has had an overall positive experience there. He has commented that he had more homework compared to the homework at the middle school he attended in Rocklin. It seems like it has been a breeze his freshman year getting all A's in his classes. My concern is if the teachers are preparing the students for what is to come at the college level especially after reading one of the comments from a previous student that Whitney did not prepare them for the challenging college courses. Also, why is Rocklin High still scoring 20 points higher than Whitney on API?
