In my experience this school is exceptional. We attended another school in the district and have been impressed with Quarry Trail and feel that the leadership is great! My kids have been thriving. One if my kiddos has a learning disability and the support we have received at this school is impressive. My child saw significant growth over the last two years due to the support and accommodations received. IEP plans feel collaborative and focused on my child's best interests. Additionally I have another child in the dual immersion program and have been equally impressed. The 1st grade kids participated in a play at the end of last year that was in both English and Spanish, the amount of time and commitment these teachers put into making the dual language program successful is evident and truly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this school.

Love all the teachers that we had so far. They genuinely care about each student and try their best to address each student’s needs.

This is one of the top schools in the district. The diversity is wonderful and the dual- immersion program is highly sought after. The majority of teachers are highly skilled, with a few weak links. As the newest campus, it feels safe with a fenced campus. Crossing guard Claudia is an absolute gem and a celebrated part of our community. I love how so many families walk/ bike to and from campus. Families from all over the district hope to enroll here so it can be impacted at times. Be cautious of any reactive, outlier reviews, that are simply not accurate.

The principal is incompetent and the cross guards will harass you in the pick-up zone. My husband is a white male and he has been dropping my son off for 2 years at this school at the drop-off zone without being harassed. During the first week, I started dropping and picking my son up from the drop-off zone, I was approached by one of their cross guards and told that I couldn't get out of the car. How am I supposed to buckle my son into his car seat if I don't get out of the car? What happened to safety first? They don't care neither does the principal. I talked to her about it and she said go park somewhere as if she is annoyed. It was not like I stepped away from the car and left it running for more than a few minutes. If people are crowded around your vehicle and you need to go around them to get your child's attention when his teacher is letting him out, yes I will need to step out briefly to get my child and buckle him in his safety seat. I would have to disagree with the ratings at this school. Also, given the amount of money we pay their salaries, they can do a better job. The school is constantly asking for donations, but they will tell you "Don't send your child to school in a Halloween costume if they can't zip up their Halloween outfit after using the restroom." While that's fine and I did not send my child to school in a Halloween outfit...stop asking for so many locations from the people that pay taxes and your salary if you are going to be lazy and only think about yourselves. If you are not white or male, good luck being treated with respect.
