Rocklin High has gone down hill big time. The math department is not set at to help kids succeed and most staff treat the students horrible. They have a vaping problem in the bathrooms so the schools solution is to shut down one of the bathrooms so the innocent students have less access.

I HATE IT HERE SO MUCH! DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE!! The staff don't attend you in a good mood, the students hate it here and wish death upon themselves everyday and no it's not just because of school but because it's the worst environment. The district itself is irresponsible and always put kids in danger. All they care about are their boys and their athletic teams and how good they look to the public eye, this school might have a 10/10 but in reality I runs below the scale. They don't take covid serious and I have a father with cancer who will die if catches covid, all I'm asking is for you to put yourself in my shoes. It doesn't take every kid into account and it's very few students in which they do, and it most likely won't be yours.

The students here are focused and engaged during classes. Teachers are well prepared and responsive to student needs and provide extra tutoring, including at lunch. The staff is friendly and welcoming. What a great place where students are thriving!

We are sick to learn yet another student had a gun on campus today.Last month a student had a gun on Campus at Whitney High School. The violence and drugs at these two High Schools seems to call into question what is being done to unite students, diminish bullying, elevate self esteem, increase compassion...Navigating through Rocklin Unified has presented one issue after the other for us.After today's incident we are done. Our home goes up for sale Monday. We can't get our kids out of this school district fast enough. We hope and pray the district discovers better ways to meet the needs of students and use resources to create a more caring environment at these schools. So far from what we can tell the district is more interested in purchasing costly marketing videos to improve their image. If they paid even close to what we are told for the last few, they could have hosted a huge Caring For One another Challenge with incentives for all district wide, and or funded many more scholarships for lower income youth to play sports or participate in clubs within the district (most are cost prohibitive for many). If you are considering placing a student here, you might want to speak with area families first.

We have had a rough ride with this school district and unfortunately our experience here at Rocklin High School is no better. If this school district placed half the energy into improving when issues are brought to their attention, that they put into covering up, and manipulating law enforcement as well as school board members into buying into corrupt tales that have nothing to do with truth, they would be top notch!Single and low income parents are shunned, only the wealthy can possibly afford to have their students in sports or cheer here.Students with hidden disabilities are bullied and left to fend for themselves. On the positive side there seems to be a bit of effort in counseling to address some of these issues. It would be nice for concerns to be addressed, rather than simply serve as the catalyst for retaliatory attacks.

Overall my son has had no issues with other students or staff. There is definite gap between wealthy and not and is pretty obvious. It seems like Rocklin High is a dumping ground for bad students from other schools. I feel the counselors could communicate with parents better and feel the school needs to address the drug use at the school better

This High School is a safe place for the children. I feel like there is a little to much pressure placed on the kids to over achieve. If you do not politically agree with this school then you are shunned. My husband and I have left several voice mails for the principal to return our call and he will not return the call. This is not very good work ethic. If our daughter wasn't almost in her senior year she would not be going to this school. Very unhappy with the principal.

I love Rocklin High school! It is such a great school with so many options and choices. They, for the most part, are very supportive. Their music program is outstanding and I am blown away. Academics at Rocklin is the right amount of challenging for me and I love it. Rocklin high school is an exellent school.

Very positive. I've got two daughter's at this school, and couldn't be happier with the support they've received. Environment provided for the students is top notch. My wife and I are very pleased to have our daughters attend this school!

Drug use and property theft are rampant problems at Rocklin High. This school needs serious cleanup and law enforcement.

I've taught at this school for almost twenty years and all of my kids have graduated from Rocklin High School. They loved their teachers, were involved in some wonderful after school activities and are very successful. It saddens me to think that anyone would feel prejudiced against for any reason. I know that this issue exists in every school and we may not be exempt from it but Rocklin High School is an excellent school. From the top down the administration, the teachers and the students are proud to be here!

Two words about this school "NO TEXTBOOKS". That's right. They don't have textbooks. Oh wait, they have textbooks, but they don't use them, because the don't follow the curriculum. They got computers. They got a football team, but they ain't got no textbooks. Sheesh

I really liked my first year so far at RHS, but I do see a few problems with it. For one, I am white and am pretty well off, unlike a few people I know. Now I love all sorts of people, I couldn't care less if they were from South Korea or South Africa, you're still going to be my friend, but this is not how some people view it. A lot of people get made fun of due to their race or ethnicity, which is bad of course. Now, there are some foreign friends of mine who don't encounter this, but it's still there and something to consider. Now academic wise? I feel that some of the teachers really just don't care, but there are others that you KNOW really want to be there. The atmosphere in class was just a whole different ballgame when the teacher wanted to be there and wanted kids to succeed. It is those people who make me want to give this school bad marks... if everyone was personable, then this school would get a 4/5. Overall, I rate this school a 3/5.
