Resurrection Lutheran School is the best thing to happen in our kids' education experience, hands down. Small classes, good friends, and faith-based teaching - this is the model all schools should follow. We love it!

The staff and teachers at Resurrection are top notch! The education is great and the teachers truly care about all of their students’ physical and spiritual well being. There are also great extracurricular activities for the children including sports, art, band, piano, and choir.

Resurrection school has been a blessing for our family. We love that we know the families of the children who our kids go to school with and consider a lot of them our friends. The staff and principal are always working hard to make sure that they offer the best they can to their students, through their education and getting to know the kids and families on a personal level. There are many sport options, school plays, before/after school care and they are always looking at how to add more when they can.

We love Resurrection Lutheran School! We have three children who attend RLS. We have been genuinely impressed with the quality of education, the individual attention our kids have received, and most importantly, the Christ-centered curriculum that RLS teaches. It is clear that the teachers and staff care deeply for our children. If you're looking for a Christ-centered K-8 school option for your kids, RLS is the best!

We were looking for a school with smaller class sizes and more one-on-one attention from teachers. This is our 4th year at Resurrection and our kids are thriving! The teachers genuinely care about seeing their students succeed both in the classroom and outside of the classroom. Having a Christ Centered education has been the best choice for our family!

Resurrection Lutheran is a wonderful school! The staff is friendly and communicative. They truly love their students! As a parent, I know my kids are loved, safe, and learning at school. Sending my kids to RLS is the best parenting decision I have made!

I love this school. I attended, myself, and "graduated" in 2000. The bonds created at this school have stuck with me for a life time. I moved my kids from public school to RLS in January of 2020. And it was the best decision even if Covid was on the horizon. The reason I switched from public to RLS was that my kids were struggling in the public school and in going to conferences and things no one was willing to help them. With in a few months of switching schools, I received a recommendation to have my daughter tested for dyslexia. And she indeed did have dyslexia. I don't think I would have ever received that recommendation if we would have stayed in the public schools. It just shows the love and compassion that these teachers and aides have for these kids. Best decision I ever made.

Resurrection Lutheran School has been a blessing in our lives since joining in 2020. We love the environment that is created with open communication, a high level of learning expectations, and the overall attitude of the teachers and support staff. One thing I remember being impressed with is when school work came home and papers were marked with penmanship errors! Not only are students expected to complete their work correctly but their penmanship is also expected to be neat. The level of individual attention given to students and their families is unparallel to our experience in the public school system. For example, students are greeted at the door by name nearly every morning by Principal Renner and/or Pastor Olson. Along this same idea of fellowship, there are school sponsored events throughout the school year to encourage school families to get to know each other through picnics, seasonal activities, and game nights. Extracurricular activities are offered with an impressive variety for a small school including sports, music, art, and science. These activities are taught/coached by school staff and volunteers. The before and after school program is another great service that we utilize as finding school age care in Rochester was a challenge for us. We are happy with our decision to enroll our kids in Resurrection Lutheran School and highly recommend that you check it out.

We had two daughters go through the school. Every teacher is knowledgable and cares very deeply about the students. It was obvious during parent-teach conferences how much they want the kids to succeed. There was open communication with the teachers, other staff, and the principal. The sports opportunities were a great way to get to know other families at the school and meet kids in other grade levels. There is a wonderful Christian base to everything they do.

Both of my children attended this school. The teachers and staff are very caring. They offer not only an excellent basic academic education (math, reading, writing, etc) , but a wonderful religious education that will stay with your child lifelong. The kids are well suited for high school. The small and reasonable teacher/child ratio lets the teachers give excellent education to each child. My kids were in advanced classes in highschool. They were not at all overwhelmed with schoolwork in this school. I highly recommend this school!

My experience has far exceeded what I had hoped for, and I have high standards for my child's education. I am looking forward to enrolling my second into preschool next year. I have heard nothing but great things about that classroom. Also, my child has been able to work with other students from the older grades as reading buddies or chapel buddies. It is cool to see the older students step up and be a great role model for my child.

Very judgmental. My child learned nothing academically until we left to public school.
