i mean its a good school but not the best

I've left the school and in my full experience, it has been horrible. I have multiple learning disabilities and the way that the school handles it is absolutely horrible. I got suspended for something that could've been avoided if the staff gave more support. My best friend had an eating disorder and when they told the counselor (no longer works here) , he shrugged it off and told them to go back to class, which may also have to do with the fact that they are black. When my other good friend wanted to speak out about racism, they were yelled at an told that they need to stop being disrespectful. The teachers and staff here are not good at all, and teach all the wrong things. I can probably name 3 good teachers max, and they probably don't even work there anymore. I absolutely do not recommend the school if you can help it.

The teachers at this school do not treat students with respect. Most of them say the common phrase 'Treat others the way you would want to be treated'. When my daughter stood up for herself when being disrespected by the teacher, they told her to go to the office. She was simply treated the teacher the way they were treating her. I strongly recommend going to other nearby schools in Rochester such as John Adams, Friedell, or Willow Creek.

I hate this school because all of the students and staff are rude and I would recommend the nearby schools including: John Adams , or Friedell they have better education and respect

Kellogg Middle School has a great academic program and teachers.
