This is the worst school district my children have ever attended. The admimistration needs to get their priorities in order with the test scores and rank of this school district compared to other schools in the country they should focus more the on academic aspect of school and less on inconsequential aspects like athletic programs such as basketball. They have a shorter school year than neighboring counties and miss out on valuable instruction time due to what appears to be a lack of funding, yet still find it necessary to close school for the sake of a high school basketball game.It should also be noted that the transportation system provided by the district is inconsistent and the bus driver (at least our bus driver) is always late and seems to show up whenever she feels like it. She has no concept of establishing a schedule and sticking to it and could care less about whether her behavior has a negative impact on anyone else.

I love the school. I didn't attend this school I went to Jones County which is on e of the top schools. I wish they had never started this new way of adding and subtracting. This is causing a problem with the elementary kids. I realize that the world is changing and after while everything is going be computerize. I think that old school adding and subtracting should be taught. when you go to a store to but things and when you try to add up your merchandise are they going have to pull out paper to regroup their merchandise? No. Its ok to learn how to re-group but adding and subtracting should have stayed the same.

Not 3 days after they started school the teachers called my husband and I complaining about our daughter having green hair from swimming in our neighbors pool, which we were told by several people it would come out on it's own. So instead of putting harmful chemicals in her hair to remove it, we decided to let it run it's course. Next the counselor called us, we missed the call and proceeded to call back try to find out what was going on with our kids. No one knew anything and we could not reach the counselor! It's been only 3 weeks that my kids have been going to this "school" and i got up late this morning to discover my children not on the bus, the bus never came! I called the school and they proceeded to tell us that a bus came at 8:15 to come and get the kids that had been left but i asked what good would that had done with you not notifying the parents, for my upset and concern i didn't get an answer but rather a dial tone! My children would learn more at home than at this school any day of the week! I would highly recommended home schooling that going here!
