I have been very happy with the level of communication between parents, teachers and administration. I have had a couple of problems, which is to be expected with three kids, but each time the situation has been resolved quickly and effectively! I especially love the new Personalized Learning initiative that Monroe has been working on; I think it will be a great benefit to students at all levels.

My only regret with having my student attend this school, is that we didn't find it until her sixth grade year. She has flourished and blossomed in this environment, making reading goals she never tried for before, becoming a student of the month twice and truly finding a staff she can count on.

Many generations of our family have gone threw Monroe. It is a wonderful school with great teachers like Ms. Castro and Mars. González that go beyond and above for there kids. As well as the friendly staff in the office.

My children who are in kindergarten and 1st grade were left unattended twice along with a cafeteria full of kids. Not only did the principal drop the ball but several employees choose to ignore this extremely serious problem not once but twice! I no longer trust Monroe!

My grandson started Kindergarten this year, and Monroe has been an excellent school for him so far. He's learned so much, both socially, and academically. I also like the school location and size. It's a neighborhood school, set among houses, far from the main street. The staff are friendly and caring. I also like the habitat that was recently built.

I have two children currently enrolled and another for next year. I am more than pleased with the teachers and staff. I am not without complaints I agree that discipline could be strengthened. In regards to underprivileged or underfunded I disagree. most of the parents I've met are homeowners like myself and yes the school is underfunded. I don't personally know of any schools that arent right now. Great school, staff is open to parent concerns. Great school.
