In 2017 I started volunteering in Andrea Ruley's 4th grade class at Madison Elementary SchoolIt has been my honor and a joy to watch Miss Ruley teach. The children love and respect her and I don't think there is a higher accomplishment for a teacher. My eyes have been opened to the difficult job teachers have. So many different children with so many different levels of learning. I watch Miss Ruley pour, not only academics into their growing minds, but she also encourages her students to be good and respectful people and to take responsibility for their actions. All this she does with patience and a soft, kind voice. The children respect her because she represents someone they can trust to do what is best for them.It is such a delight to be with Miss Ruley and the amazing children of her class.I also am so impressed with Madison Elementary School. Principal McCombs and the entire staff love their students and encourage them with smiles and praise. Such a GREAT SCHOOL

My son has ADHD but we dont want to give him medication. His schooling is difficult for him but Madison has had great teachers who respect our decision and help w the understanding of how a child may be under these circumstances. We had Mr.Mc Devitt last year and was such a relief to have a school year of peace and happiness for my son. Oh and he also took time out of his own to help find some solutions for my son Damien to help in class and before all these fidget spinners there is a fidget cube that i had purchased for Damien and one to donate, wich we both thought helped a lot to keep him more focused. All in all i love this school for building my son back up in his confidence after transferring from a top rated school Tuscany Hills that didnt want nothing to do but push the fact of pills for my child and broke him with everyday reports of negativity from his ADHD. Madison school truly has been a wonderful experience for my family =)

This school is amazing! They have great teachers...specially Ms. Lang! The principal is also great! If there is a problem you don't have to make an appointment to speak to the principal , he is always available , they nip the problems quick! My son, loves this school, they also challenge him academic! This is a great neighboorhood school, the parent's are also involve in their children's education.....in order for your child to be sucessful it's not just the teacher's or the principals job, as a parent we need to be involve in our children education!

I moved to Riverside in April and like any mother who's concern about their childs education I searched the web for insight about public schools. Greatschools was such a great tool for me and it helped me find Madison Elementary that turn out to be great for my kids. They love the attention they get from their teachers and I have been given numerous resources to keep in contact with my kids teachers. That alone was surprising to me since my daughter is in 5 grade and most teachers feel the kids should be responsible enough and keeps parents out of the loop but not here. Her teacher has email, text and phone call access and there is no excuse for not knowing what is happening in her class. Love it..
