Chemawa MS is currently buzzing as they are experiencing a cultural shift as they adopt a winning, championship mentality. Educators at this site are eager to make change for the betterment of their students and community. Academically, educators have agreed to up the rigor across the board. Educators continue to build on their social emotional learning instruction so the needs of the whole student are met. Chemawa's athletic programs are second to none as students are being prepped for high school and collegiate competition. While there is always room for improvement and more work to be done, educators at Chemawa are excited to do the work. The energy level at Chemawa is undeniable.

Made good friends and had a couple good teachers. When I went to counselors and such about bullying, nothing came about. When I told the counselor about Abuse i had been experiencing he told my abusers IMMEDIATELY. My art teacher was rude and emotionally abusive. Disregarded me at every point and never wanted to really help me. Even accused me of theft and almost got me suspended. My 8th grade science teacher, 7/8 grade history teachers, and my pe teachers were good. After school was the only thing keeping me invested.

The older scored from 2018 and earlier should not count because leadership and teachers have changed from over the years . My son has attended Chemaya for a year and a half and he has some good friends and is having a good middle school experiences.

Absolute worse school you could ever go to. Most teachers don't care about the kids. And the staff doesn't care about bullying. Unless you want your child to turn into a disrespectful ghetto kid, don't send them here. The only thing I liked was choir and band.

Most of the teachers at Chemawa are great! They care about the kids and want to see them succeed. However, there are teachers at Chemawa that are not there to teach...they are there to collect their paycheck and benefits. The principal seems to be there only as an advocate for teachers, not students. I will be a happy parent when I don't have to deal with this principal or his staff of office administrators with bad attitudes towards parents and anger towards the children.
