I am a professor at a major university in Los Angeles and my daughter has gone to Harvest Cristian School for six years -- from the first through sixth grade. In my opinion, the school is excellent. My daughter has received a great education that has a CHRIST-centered focus. The teachers have been committed Christians, and the curriculum has been rigorous. As with other private schools, the students in general are relatively strong academically, so Harvest has an excellent learning environment. A couple of the other individuals who responded to this survey gave extremely unfavorable evaluations. However, I must respectfully disagree with those evaluations based on my six years of experience with the school. The principals, including the current principal Mr. DeFoe, have been fair and have shown genuine interest in the kids and their education. Over the six years that my daughter has gone to Harvest, I have dropped her off at school or picked her up countless times. Throughout this large observational window I have never once heard a child or parent use foul language, scream, or fight. The overall attitude is very uplifting and positive. In addition, the sixth grade graduation ceremony was marvelous and a night to be remembered, with motion videos of each child on a larger screen alongside a wonderful dining experience. In summary, then, I strongly recommend his school.

All three of my children now ages 6-20 attend(ed) this school and I am more than satisfied. The school offers quality education with a biblical foundation. It’s a place where I can leave my child and feel safe until I pick them up. The teachers are genuinely interested in the children’s progress. The receptionist is inviting. The principle is kind yet firm displaying a strong representation of the school. I highly recommend Harvest.

This school shuts down young children. It is unchristian-like with the way they treat you when something goes wrong or against what they want. They say they want parent involvement, but the more they see you, the more they hate you. They told us to leave the school because our child was sick too often. This was during covid, no masks, very little hand washing, all kindergarten classes mix together, but yet, it is was our fault our child was ill from their school. If I were you - run!

Every single teacher is a strong leader and shows compassion for each child. The teachers, staff and administration truly take the time for questions and are available on a regular basis. My two kids have attended for the past 4 years and no school is perfect but I know God has his working hand on the people who care for his children. They all do an awesome job and I can see both my children's learning progressing each and every year. Education and the word of God under one school. God Bless Harvest Christian School.

the school is a joke. They are not christian like at all and the staff needs training. Academics great. Overall the school is horrible.

We will be starting are 3rd year at Harvest Christian School this coming fall, and each year they find a way to make it even better. The teachers, administrators, and support staff are truly dedicated to both the students as well as their families. You will not find a better place for top of the line, challenging yet supportive academic learning, coupled with the solid foundation in Christ you are seeking for your child. I am thankful to God for allowing us the opportunity to have our children enrolled at Harvest Christian School.

We love this school and would very highly recommend it. My only disappointment is that it ends with sixth grade. This is my son's last year at Harvest, and we're finding it difficult pick a school for seventh; we're so spoiled with all of Harvest's wonderful resources and staff.
