Easily the best school in the district. The principal is absolutely amazing and spreads so much positive spirit throughout the school! A very happy and successful learning environment for the students. Special education goes above and beyond at this school. If only all the children in the district had a school like this to attend.

We moved within the township just so our children would go to Copper Hill. Three years later and we couldn't be happier with the decision!

My family moved to Flemington from another town in Hunterdon County and have been SO IMPRESSED with our experience. The school has limitless opportunities for family involvement, for student enrichment, and has been professional, clear, and helpful in ALL of their communications. This school, the administration, the teachers, and the community here is wonderful. If you can't tell from all of the capitalization I am using, I am THRILLED to be here and absolutely love this school.

We have been at this school for 4 years and love it. It challenges my child academically while providing a soft social experience to learn and grow. The entire experience has been positive and we have enjoyed our time at Copper Hill.

I am also very disappointed at both the pace and lack of education for those who are on the higher end of the learning curve. Classes are too large and not enough attention is given to those who are more advanced academically. While I understand this is a public school they should expand their gifted and talented program to Kindergarten and work with those who are at more of an advanced pace. I feel those who are more advanced academically are left in the corner and teachers don t pay enough attention to them because they have to get everyone to par.

We were redistricted from Robert Hunter which we loved but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of education our children received at Copper Hill. With the exception of one teacher they were all great. This is a great area to raise a family and educate your children. The PTO is very active and compliments the learning with many extra programs and activities. I felt the school had ample security and my children enjoyed their grammar school experience.

Our family moved to this area after our tour of Copper Hill Elementary School. In the 12 years we have lived here, we have found the teachers to be exemplary and all of the staff to be open and welcoming. We have a special needs child as well as a gifted child, and have found the teachers and staff to be accommodating of their individual needs.

Both of my children love this school. The teachers are very attentive. I wish there was more diversity but the lack thereof is a result of the neighborhoods and my children don't seem to miss it. They feel welcomed and at home.

If you have special needs you won't find them properly addressed here. I never should have moved here with the taxes I pay. Can't go into details now due to litigation.

I've been very disappointed at both the pace and lack of challenge this school has provided my two children. My daughter, who is very bright, spent her 3rd grade learning virtually nothing new with her skills in math and writing actually degrading from the end of her second year (her 3rd grade teacher went on maternity leave but checked out long before and the fill in did the minimum. Her 5th grade teacher is actually pretty good, but is checking out 3 weeks early for elective surgery (wouldn't want to waste her summer), unfortunately at the expense of the students. My son teachers are happy to let him play instead of learning, when he complains he's tired, hungry, frustrated, etc. and is now way behind where he should be now far behind what he is capable of doing as a second grader. I know this because he tries the same things at home, but doesn't get away with it. I've had to put them both in supplemental after school tutoring programs so they can learn what they should be learning at school at an additional personal cost of thousands of #39;s per year.
