So many additional activities and clubs available. Kids could take summer enrichment classes and graduate junior year if they choose. Great teachers. My daughter is enjoying high school. I don’t agree with the rating. It’s a diverse school which we love. Great schools penalized schools that have a diverse population and gives higher ratings to schools with less diversity.

We are three months into sending our kids here, and we are beyond impressed. The teachers are inspiring and engaging, the social atmosphere is good, the administrative staff is friendly and has the kids' best interests at heart, the sports are above and beyond with coaches making character and perseverance just as important as talent, the curriculum is rigorous, the theatre program is outstanding, the abundance of clubs (over 200) is incredible, and the counseling services are above and beyond (you will not find such a great emphasis on counseling at any other NJ school). This is a great district and an excellent high school!

What a wonderful school! Having been in the private school sector for years, this school is just as good if not better. The classes are small, the teachers are experienced, thoughtful, and engaging, and they seem to really love their jobs as well as the kids and the school. The sports and coaches are fantastic and truly dedicated to promoting not only athleticism but also teamwork and character. The course offerings are impressive, and the list of elective choices is phenomenal (college level). This school also offers over 200 clubs! Although the school is big, because everyone is so friendly and helpful, it feels like a small community with a lot of pride in excellence. My kids are thriving at Central. If you are lucky enough to live in this district, and send your kids here…consider yourself fortunate.

We moved freshman year from another district and the quality of the education is night and day. My high schooler has an iep and she has made excellent gains over the last three years in her academics because she is being provided the support she needs. There is so much the school offers for clubs, sports, extra curricular activities etc. it’s a great school. We are very happy we moved.

My children graduated from this school, and my global experience was excellent. I really loved it. Everything is very well organized. Everyone in the staff excellently prepared. They are doing an amazing job, they truly care for their students.I strongly recommend this school if you are looking for a place in which your kids will grow and have better opportunities in their future.

I graduated class of 2012 from this absolutely terrible school. The administration is useless, far overpaid, and is comprised of mainly ex-gym teachers. Complete waste of tax dollars and a disgrace to our public schooling system.

Hunterdon Central is an excellent school. They take very serious the education of their students. The school has an excellent prepared teachers, and the ESL program and Team PEP program are gorgeous. For sure the academic levels are the best in the state.

Teachers treat you like a number make girls feel like a slut board of education doesn't even care about your education they only want all their awards on saying its a "blue ribbon" school 75% of the staff are absolutely rude

This school is just a miserable place to be. I am a student and those who are saying student reviews are ridiculous can't begin to imagine what it's like because they simply don't spend five days a week trudging around the place. I'd like to mention that I am a HIgh Honor Roll student with a 4.0 GPA, so it's not like I resent the school because I'm not doing well. The teachers are just unmotivated, bored, and frustrated with the administration; the administration is self-servering and cares more about getting bonuses than the students. The students are frustrated too, because teachers are so bad and when we call them out and complain to guidance counselors, they say they agree but nothing ever changes. Overall, it's a place that doesn't serve the students and it constantly feels like they don't genuinely care if the students succeed. I think this was once a good school, but it isn't anymore. It has lost its vision and direction and it's a sad place to spend six hours a day. I would go to a private school if I could, but I personally can't afford it. I'm just counting down the days until my graduation, which I think is pretty sad, because I believe kids should enjoy learning.

This school is horrible.. anyone who thinks otherwise is stuck inside their farm town Flemington bubble and have not gotten out of it and experienced the real world. I hate going here period. The teachers are okay for the most part very few are good and most just seem to hate their life and job and children.. they shouldn't be teaching.The kids is the weirdest mish mosh of druggies and jocks that have 0 motivation. I'm currently in fall of my sophomore year and cannot wait until i go to a private school next year... i will go anywhere but here
