Not a good place for growing minds. Testing scores are terrible administration is focused on other things. Teachers place CNN for social studies don’t remove kids that have violent outburst or sexually inappropriate behavior.

i went there 2-8th.... I hated it. They treated the middle schoolers like 3rd graders.... no freedoms...

We love the school, teachers, principal and staff at Red Rock! Going on 5 years at the school and nothing negative to say about it. Each year my children have had awesome teachers that are willing to go that extra something. Kids love it here!

I love the community at this school. The children look forward to going to school and have positive comments when they get home. The teachers are fantastic and go the extra mile to make sure every student is reaching their potential. I find the approach to be very progressive - incorporating technology, inclusion, and whole brain teaching. The administration is supportive of the educational process as well as understanding the needs of families. Before and after school care would be helpful but there are many community members that assist with this.

It's my belief that this schools Administrator/Principal is a detriment to the school. As a parent I have extreme concerns about a person that will talk falsely about a parent to push an agenda. My child entered this school as a foster child and his adoption was final months later however this principal and special education department failed to provide (as the state board of education mandates) the environment and support that my child needed. As my child continued to struggle this school told me over and over again that they were not staffed and did not have the budget to provide for my child. If your child needs any assistance DO NOT send them here. This school is probably great for parents and children who have not had the emotional and educational hurdles that children in foster care have. However if your child needs effort and consistancy in managing through issues, don't send them here. I am extermely disappointed in myself for not knowing my rights as a parent and for not knowing what the State Board of Education mandates are. Please see the IDEA brochure on the AZ Dept fo Education website to learn about your rights because this school will walk all over you if you don't!

Red Rock School has been great for my kids. They started in 2nd grade and kindergarten. They love knowing everyone and the fact that most students will help others out. They bad reviews must come from parents that did not get their way or one of those parents that blames any problems the kid has on the school and does not look deep inside their parenting abilities and the fact that the child takes Zero responsibility for themselves. Living in a smaller community and having my children be able to be part of a family school is great. They are doing very well in education and social part of school. The teachers know almost every kid in the school and assist each other in educating and making the kids better human beings. They are great at teaching responsibility, even though some kids will never learn, and how to better themselves through education and social learning. the sports programs are up and coming as well as the local sports programs. All in all we could not have hoped for a better situation for our children and ourselves.

Red Rock Elementary has been a awesome school for my daughter to attend. The teachers and staff work hard to encourage a atmosphere of learning. They are also working on developing more athletic opportunities for the children to participate in.
