We travel so kids had no choice to be enrolled, I think the kids get a better education, communication is key, but if things go astray teacher will attempt. To get in contract with student. They seem to be making improvements, when we started ours kids were instructed to do apprpxmately an hour per course per day, they now show on the sigh on whether they have. Late items etc, big improvement for parents, we get weekly updates for our kids in grades and time completed in the past week.

Our children were enrolled in one of this district's traditional elementary schools. We were dissatisfied with a variety of policies & approaches to the education of our children, so we removed them to attend a public charter school. After 3 years there, we realized they were NOT receiving the well-rounded program we were led to believe they would get. In a frenzy to find something suitable going into this past school year ('09-'10), we found this program, which partners with the Mesa Distance Learning Program. Unlike the description on this webpage, this IS a program that covers all grades, from K-12. We have loved the flexibility of our experience this year. Each of our children have progressed at a steady pace & are becoming truly independent learners. There are technical glitches, but overall this is a strong program & worth considering if you are fed up with a 'regular' school environment.
