This school is your average-boring school. It’s really over-crowded, and the bus has about 64, sometimes misbehaving students.clubs are moderately sorta boring, but I guess if you like that type of stuff it will be fun.Teachers can’t really help students in depth since they have about 100 or more. And the homework doesn’t get any lighter. If you have clubs, or stuff you do outside of school, your going to need to be prepped. Because most teachers see assigning homework as a lighting of their work.If your not really like other people in opinions and such, ( ex, you love school, you don’t like using computers much, you don’t like candy, etc.) than you probably should not expect your minority voice to be heard. Most of the time, they go by majority, because for some reason that’s fair I guess. But hey, at least you can always say I told you so for some random situation. To be honest, I don’t think are school is much of a diverse one. A lot of people think that diversity comes in the race of someone, but most of the time it comes from different ideas, expressions, and thoughts. No matter what it be in the form of.Which if we’re are talking about THAT diversity, then we have got close to a drop of it. It’s not so bad though I guess.I’m going to stop complaining , because there are some sorta good stuff about our school.Like, we have classrooms in a pod, which basically means they cut a square out of the hall, and they plop some doors that lead to classrooms on the perimeter of the square. Even though it is easy to navigate, I still dislike it because I like to go through tricky middle school challenges that are not academics, but of course they did that.Sorry, here is some actual good news. They have sort of cool electives, but none of them interest me because I was looking forward to the career path choices one, but of course...never mind.Other good stuff about this school is that a lot of people know your name. Like example a lot kids say,Hi _______!Which is cool, but I hardly know anyone’s names except the names of people I do not talk to.And, I guess we’re like, all a bunch of pre-mature kids inside our hearts, we just don’t like to admit it,But when we do in our actions, it’s a pretty fun time.So kid behind the screen, my one whole-sentence of advice it to speak SOME of your true heart out, because surprisingly, a lot of people think the same thing.

I have no idea why this school is rated as highly as it is. The constant fighting goes unchecked. Bullying is next level. My child receives no extra help although issues have been brought up on all accounts.

Amazing school, great teachers, and their care about their students succeeding.

Is a very good school, kids seem to be ok. I would like to see more teacher parent conferences when student are struggling before the grade arrives. Is good for a parent to see what their child is struggling with. In the other hand they could send parents individual reports to the parent if they don't have time to meet with each and every individual parent.

My son has had a far better experience here than at the elementary school. The teacher/parent communication is better, the support is better, the overall mood of the school is upbeat. Ms. Kremer has made a huge difference at this school since my daughter went there about 4 yrs ago. I haven't met an unfriendly face and I spend quite a bit of time there. All the teachers we've had appear to be passionate about what they do.

LRMS, as well as the elementary and high school, is the best public school system in wake county. I have been involved with almost all of them, and I will say Leesville stands high above the rest. The student body as a whole is very driven in academia, and are socially very appropriate. Many of the problems you see in schools nowadays are not highlighted at Leesville. Students and staff are just very appropriate, and morally sound. It is a 'wealthier' area of Raleigh that is districted here, and it shows in that most students seem to come from homes that have parents that care about their children, and in their behavior, well-being, and education. The teachers and administration care for the students, and genuinely want to see them succeed in all aspects. If you are planning to send your child into the wake county public school system, this is the best choice.

The two ladies greeting parents at the front entrance were extremely rude. Scowling looks, eye rolling and huffing and puffing.

This school was terrible, I was a student there and all the teachers were rude and unhelpful and the students were also really rude and some of them bullied me, and everyday when I came home from school I cried because of how awful the school was.

This is a great school, just as Leesville Road Elementary was. My son goes here. Most of the teachers I've come into contact with are nice, helpful, and caring. Most of the kids also seem decent. My son hasn't seemed to have seen any violent or troubling behavior over the years, as many parents might worry about in public schools nowadays. We love it here.

This school is horrible. The teachers attempt to pass out after school detention and in school suspensions like candy. My is an roll student there yet his teacher attempted to give him an after school detention for asking to use the bathroom. Even the VP attempted to give my child an ISS in a bullying incident where he was actually the victim. The VP even admitted jumping the gun. The principal is non-exsistant and everything is done for through the VP. Most of the teachers are a unable to handle kids. One of my child's teachers was making the kids give her their shoe for collateral to borrow school items! There are so many bullying incidents is unbelievable. I have never taken my child out of school before but he will not be attending next year.

Bullys are not what they seem here, and they are cleverly disguised as just troublesome, little kids. Behind all the happiness, there always is a dark side at this school

Great school with great teachers and parent involvement..On the needs improvement side; administrative staff need to become more personable, it feels like serving parents/ students/ etc is bother to them, and the principal needs to be more visible (she leaves at the beginning of next month, but most will not know the difference).
