I have 2 kids at this school who came from public school. From day 1 we could see the difference in not only the level of education but in how more was expected from them. The teachers are incredibly helpful, they are easily accessible and have been very good at communicating issues and achievements. This is a great school. We have actually decided to stay in College Point just so our kids can continue to attend here.

My kids have been here since nursery and they are now in middle school grades. They LOVE the school, their friends and their teachers. Kids are respectful, hard-working and kind. Kids are challenged and this school produces kids that hit the ground running in high school because of the preparation they have gone through since grade 1. I am confident my kids will get into wonderful high schools, specialized and Catholic, maybe even with scholarships! We are very happy with HTCA!

Sending my son to HTCA was the best decision I have ever made. I love the small, family-like environment.

The parents and staff at Holy Trinity Catholic Academy are more than a school they are family.

Holy Trinity is such a wonderful school and community. The teachers truly love teaching and love the children. The parents take such pride in the school and are warm and welcoming. My children have not only received above par educations, but have made life long friends. I thoroughly researched all the schools in the area before deciding where to send my children. It was an important decision that I didn't take lightly. I couldn't be happier with my choice. I am proud to tell people we are part of Holy Trinity Catholic Academy.

Small school (nice), big kids are so kind to the little ones. My Kindergartener knows all the older kids names and they know hers. Fantastic community of moms/dads that really care about their kid's education. They learn a lot here so be prepared to work hard. My daughter is coming home learning all kinds of things from hibernation and Antartica to all kinds of math. Love this school.

HTCA is a great school. Kids are very respectful and bullying is dealt with immediately. The principal immediately handles issues, immediate resolution (personal experience). Suspension is not uncommon here for kids that bully. Zero tolerance. Christian values are enforced. This is a school for kids that want to learn, academic projects are outstanding, tests are difficult (yes-challenging-why wouldn't you want your kids challenged?) but fair. Kids get used to pushing themselves from 1st grade so by the time they reach 8th grade they are the recipients of FULL scholarships to high school and have many choices. Advanced science courses are given for 8th graders afterschool. No/few "dress downs" bc this is not a fashion show. No makeup for older girls. Preteens look like 11-13yr olds bc they still are children. Old school VALUES in a modern world. Hands on learning, small class sizes. My 5yr old can read VERY well and can add double digit numbers in KINDERGARTEN. VERY happy here. I wish there were more schools like this. It is what a religious school was when I was growing up. Call and make an appointments for a school tour! You will see the difference in the way the kids comport themselves and the happy environment in the school!

My children have been VERY happy there socially and academically. The principal, Mrs. K is ALWAYS there to hear a parent's concern/child's questions, no appointment necessary, open door policy. She is amazing, from head director of curriculum to peacemaker between the kids when they have a conflict. She is always talking to a child in her office when I have come by un-announced. Also LOVE the heavy religious influence bc that is what we are paying for, a CATHOLIC education based on Jesus' principles. The academic environment is MUCH better neighboring schools. Look at the state test scores/Terra Nova scores. My children are now very challenged at HTCA. The number of scholarships given to 8th graders is yet another point to consider. No better school in the area academically and to raise moral young people.

The school itself along with the parish have fallen on hard times and it has translated into the quality of education received there. Their financial troubles are common knowledge among the community. Donations are often asked for by the parish so they may remain afloat. They recently had let go of a special learning center's lease located on their third floor in order to make room for a higher paying lease owner. My colleague teaches here, and her feedback about the school's practices have disappointed me. When my son attended here, he told me he wasn't happy with the atmosphere and the heavy load of religious study they adhered to. After hearing it from my colleague as well though and not even a few years later, I decided to learn more about their system. The school has not modernized much of not only it's curriculum, but its text books as well. The children have no outdoor yard for recess, and are instead taken out into the teacher parking lot. Outdoor PE consists of limited ball tossing on the school's front lawn. Extra curricular activities are almost non-existent. Putting all these factor together, once can start to see why my review of them remains this low.

We transferred our kid from another Catholic school nearby. This truly is a God-blessing school from the principal to the teachers to the students. The catholic value is shown in the kids when they come home. Unlike some many other larger schools, who always asks for donations constantly and don't even know its students. The principal of this school knows every kid's name and really care about them. Love love love this school. Not to mention its academically high standards, but kids learn a lot more here.

We have 2 girls in this school and are thrilled tha we chose Holy Trinty for them to begin their education journey. Academically outstanding. The teachers and principal are involved professionally and personally. Great science lab, computer lab and technical advance, ends with smart boards in each classroom. Parent support is incredible as well. As an example all classrooms are now fitted with air conditioning donated by 2 families for all. An incredible environment and small community of families who care about their children and their education.
