Great school no matter if your low income or not. Thanks to the programs mentioned in class at this school, I have never been more financially prepared at independence highs school. I’m also so glad I earned my diploma faster than anyone at Provo high would.

As a parent of 3 children and experience with multiple teachers at various schools in the area - Independence provides a safe, supportive learning environment for our daughter. Her academic needs are met in a way that helps to motivate her toward graduation. Where she's failed in various subjects in the past, teachers have been very attentive and worked with her to help her understand concepts and grasp the general ideas so she can experience success. Truly, she would not be on track to graduate without the help of all the faculty, staff and support personnel at Independence High School.

I love this school. My high schooler needed assistance with quite a few things that she wouldn't be able to have at the main high school. The principal (Lani) is amazing and accessible. The majority of teachers do their best to accommodate your student and help them either graduate from IHS or make up credits efficiently so they may return to their neighborhood high school. I wish they had more after school programs but I understand how funding goes for individual schools. I couldn't recommend them enough if your teen needs a program like this.
