I have had children at Cherry Hill since 2004. Mrs. Hart (current principal) is excellent. My children have been in the dual language program and have learned a lot. We are looking forward to being able to use the whole school when the rebuild is complete. Until it is done the sack lunches three days per week and pizza two days per week are the best we can get so my kids mostly have sack lunch from home. Parents are always welcome to talk with the principal about concerns and are invited to join PTA and be involved with activities going on at the school. I have been able to meet with teachers to address concerns about my children and have found most of the teachers able to work with me and my kids. I have also interacted with teachers who do not teach my kids. Some years I have visited every classroom some and I have been delighted to see the positive learning atmosphere created in each room.

No impressed with CherryHill. I'm a mother of 5 and 3 attend. The bullying issue has to stop. They have rules to try to stop it but i don't think they are doing enough. As far as I'm concerned they need more intervention, motivational speakers and much more to stop this cycle of bad behavior. The Spanish Emersion for 1st grade program was a joke trying to figure out the homework(very disorganized) and good thing I took Spanish in junior high. Not to mention way too much homework for a 1st grader. I'm more displease of how unorganized the homework packet is. Numers on papers didn't match the guide. The lunches are the worst unfortunately.i really have been trying to be patient with this school. But it seems to always let me down too many times.
