We have had an amazing experience with Pottsboro. Education wise they are far more advanced. We also have two young children with special needs who have learned so much this year already when it’s only half way through. As opposed to all of last school year they were in a different small local school and did not learn a thing. The teachers are kind.

My son is being bullied and nothing has been done, not only my child but many others as well, and since the mom is a big part of the school and the dad is a coach and have money, it's all the other kids who have to suffer. This has been the worst school I ever put my son in. 4th grade should be fun, but it's like a prison and they allow big shots to bully the smaller kids. He won't be attending next year!

Ok, I'm gonna lay it all down here for y'all . Most of these reviews are somewhat from long ago apparently a lot has changed. I have 4 girls we have moved quite a bit and I have seen my fair share of bad schools and good schools . Pottsboro is without a doubt on my bad school list! The elementary the middle school is God awful! They run this place like a prison. My 1st grader was being hit by a helper at the school and their response to me when I told them was ," that never happened and we were lying." Not only from a teacher but from the school counselor as well . They have so many bullies here and I'm not just talking kids! Their whole system is corrupt! The elementary rest rooms reeked of raw sewage EVERYMORNING! I pulled my girls out that instant we were called liars. Now the middle school , sheesh! My oldest is dyslexic and I gave them the form that showed her past 504 program, so the lady called wanting her to be retested . Uh as if the dyslexia would just magically disappear?! Then they took their sweet time and never placed her in the class to get her accommodations . She was failing BAD! But the teachers do t contact you back! They got sever bully issues. They need help!

Our daughter lived the first 7 years of her life in the Philippines and came to this country critically challenged in English. The wonderful staff at Pottsboro Elementary extended every effort to help her catch up and thanks to them, our child has a great start on her education in a safe and nurturing environment.
