I would never recommend going if you are sensitive to sound. I have a hard time focusing with loud noises, and even during testing people are never quiet. If you missed even a bit of learning during 2020-2022, it will impact your learning here. In the 7th grade, we're doing basic algebra which you need the necessities of 1st-5th grade.

The school is very crowded, i have transferred from a different school and the quality is terrible. They are so many people that are very loud and swear almost every second. Almost 90% of students in the school are never quiet always making inappropriate comments and sounds, and it is a living nightmare for people who are sensitive to sound. This is made worse by the fact that class sizes are usually in the mid to upper 40's, with the biggest one i have seen was around 55 students. This school is terrible, I would not recommend going to this school at all.

Stoller has great teachers and students. The teachers are helpful, approachable, and understanding. Stoller encourages individualism and has a strong academic setting (Summa Program, etc) but not in a cutthroat or competitive way. They help developing both academic and personal skills such as collaboration. Mutual support among students is encouraged regularly and effectively.

One of the best BSD middle schools. They provide books students whenever necessary. My son was given a thick comprehensive biology book to keep at home for the whole school year and he refers to this book for many of his home work. Great teching style.

I'm glad I stayed in CDL so I don't need to deal with the students, I'm in 8th grade now, can't wait to leave. There's toxic students who all need Dr. Phil. Many rumors spread, many do drugs. Kids think they're funny and cool by swearing and talking dirty but they're not and are just annoying, no idea how they got an entire friend group. The students would make fun of your clothes. There's always people in the bathroom doing inappropriate stuff (boy and girl in the same bathroom). Most teachers are alright tho, it's the students that are mostly the problem. The principle does nothing, I literally never heard her voice and have been here for 3 years(except I heard she made a speech after the school lockdown but I wasn't there). It's really over crowded, basically a zoo. Please put your child in a different school, for their sake. If your child is an angel and innocent then this is not the place for them, high chance their personality will change and become negative. If you decide to bring your child here, they should be able to survive as long as they avoid the bad kids and don't start drama (or be involved), 2 or 3 friends is enough. I wish them good luck if they go there.

I hate it. This school is the worst I've ever been to. There are reasons. There is a decent amount of homework and I have no concerns about that. About half of the teachers and staff were nice, and half were not. An electives teacher (Not telling who) has a short fuse and flips out so easily, getting the class blamed on. The school never cares about bullies, there are people who swear. There was even this one kid in my grade who has the entire school as his "gang" or "posse" and him and I had great rivalry. There are more kids in this school who have this. Lots of people have heard a couple years ago about this threat in this school that happened on the news. More kids bring up threats to. Last year, there were some no-brainers who were in the Men's Bathroom, locking the door and lighting a barrel of cheetos on fire. Not and never recommended.

The school is overcrowded. It may have been good in the past. But BSD is introducing and forcing school to expose kids to inappropriate topics. I have seen my daughter browsing pictures of violence to do required "research". Principle did not want to discuss this and suggested we just can go to a different school. They Nnever talk about ergonomics. The school is bad for kids mentally and physically Stay away if you can..

Not that great. The OLD ADMINISTRATION WAS MUCH BETTER. The school has a lot of drugs and vaping in other halls.

It is the worst, so far, 2 years of our lives educational/school wise. The school does not care about it's students, and refuses to help with bullying, intimidation ect. I've reached out multiple times for help and they are always condescending and rude, trying to turn the tables as to not deal with issues. Also, good luck reaching out to the principle. I have reached out to her multiple times about different issues and she is radio silent each time. The only time you will hear from her is a mass email after a lockdown or the weekly newsletter.

I am very disappointed with 6th grade at this school. The assignment load is that of high school, or even college in some classes. And the assignments are not easy to keep track of, as a parent it's overwhelming. I've had multiple conversation with the 6th grade counselor who has been great. But only dead-end conversations with his homeroom teacher. This school needs to revamp the 6th grade transition in to middle school. Or maybe BSD needs to send 6th graders back to elementary school.

This school is horrible and is sexist, racist and enables bullying.

This school was definitely the best school I have ever studied in. (I have moved over 20 times). The teachers and the students are very nice and they help everyone. The parents are also very involved.

For some odd reason, the students here are the nastiest and rudest kids I have ever met. They have harrowing personalities and are not very acceptive of members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have been called very many slurs, from racial to queer slurs, and am not enjoying my year. Education and curriculum is so-so, but the homework load is daunting, seeing as teachers don't coordinate about when assignment are due, wether they are big or little assignments, so on so forth.
