My son in 3rd grade has been attending since Kindergarten, and every teacher has been wonderful, responsive, and really seems to know him well. I love how diverse the school is. I really don't have any big complaints. We transfer in every year from out of this district and my husband and I have already discussed that even though we may move further away, we'll do what we have to do to continue our sons education here. It's been a wonderful introduction to learning, and my kids are excited about school. My 4 yr old is looking forward to starting Young 5's this fall.

We were a Moorsbridge family for 6 years and I can't say enough good things about this school. There is a lot of parents involved in make this place successful. One of my kids needed some extra help and the teachers and administration went the extra mile to help him succeed and transition into middle school.

While on a tour of the building, it was clear to me that many of the students in this school are naturally very bright and self-motivated. Overall, I felt that the staff is very dedicated to the children and it is clear that many of the parents put a priority on being involved with their children's education. There were several parent volunteers in the classrooms when I visited. The current principal appears to be competent but she is very business-oriented and I feel that she is still finding her footing as the new leader. I didn't feel as if she was as connected to her staff as she could be. In my opinion, she has not learned to delegate as well as she could. I feel her leadership style needs a little refinement. The best leaders make everyone under them feel empowered and confident. After watching her interact with some of her staff members, I felt that she was a little too imposing. I am not certain that she has learned to trust the judgment of everyone on her staff...which inevitably will have a somewhat negative pull on the atmosphere of the school. All that being said, I would still highly recommend this school. The overall environment seemed very supportive.

I have 2 kids in this school, and have heard great things under the old principal, Mrs Haas; I would like to see more math and analytical programs, and they need to be more proactive and teach kids to get along with everyone. I have seen kids form clicks and groups, and they start as early as kindergarten

My daughter is in kindergarten and attends moorsbridge elementary. This is an excellent school. The teachers are caring and the principal is amazing as well. She is very hands on and interacts with students on a daily basis. Any behavioral issues are dealt with immediately. Also, the students learn math and reading at high levels. They offer accelerated reader program, along with "book buddies" and "Baggie books" just to name a few of the techniques used in learning. Also, parental involvement is encouraged and appreciated. I love this because I like to come to my daughter's recess and/or lunchtime to volunteer and see her. I would highly recommend this school!

Moorsbridge is a wonderful school with an excellent staff of teachers. There's not a bad one in the bunch. The office staff is super helpful and always greets me with a smile. The principal gets an A+ for keeping a tight ship.

Love this school! The principal is dedicated, organized and quick to resolve issues. I disagree with the previous review because my experience with the office staff has been nothing but warm and friendly and they are always happy to answer questions. I have had 2 children attend this school and both have had great teachers. This is also the perfect school for children wth special needs.

Great school. Fantastic Principal - very involved and present throughout school and at functions. Friendly and helpful office staff. Wonderful teachers. (Only one a disappointment and this teacher has since moved on.) Highly recommended.

I am very surprised to see the latest post. This school is top notch in every way. I have found the office staff friendly and have helped me out many times. Mrs. Haas is very dedicated and knows the children by name.. The teachers are dedicated and have taught my children what they need to succeed in school. You want your child to attend this school!

I feel that the pricipal is a real leader and great to deal with. She gets the job done and fast when I had a couple of issues with a teacher. The office staff, however, is unfriendly, and not easy to talk to or deal with. Have only been at this school for one year. The teacher is just ok, nothing special unfortunately. I am most impressed with the wonderful librarian, principal, and janitor.
