We have been at 12th Street School for 2 years and love it! The teachers are friendly, smart, and communicative. Every student gets a locker. The playground equipment is age appropriate (2 playgrounds, 1 for older kids, 1 for younger kids). Library has great selection of books. Plenty of PTO activities including father-daughter dance, movie nights, and school carnival.

12th Street Elementary is a fantastic school! We've had nothing but fantastic teachers and the administrator is very available and willing to explore multiple answers to behavior issues. Our school has a great feeling of family and communication is regular.

Our family LOVES this school! We feel very lucky our children have the opportunity to attend 12th Street Elementary. The principal is a strong, positive leader. Every one of the teachers we have encountered are friendly, welcoming, highly skilled, have high expectations, and are committed to helping all students succeed. The staff are implementing positive behavior supports, they differentiate instruction so that students are challenged appropriately, they collect and share student achievement data freely, the teachers communicate, communicate, communicate and the school staff work hard to involve families in decision-making. A top-notch school.

I have been at this school for 1 year and am so impressed with the dedication of the staff at the school. They definitely go above and beyond for the success of the their students. The office staff is friendly and welcoming.
