I had two kids in the elementary program from the beginning of the school year until late October. We really wanted this school to work out. We believe in the Montessori method and were willing to do whatever we could to support a good educational environment. Unfortunately, we began having issues right away that never ended up being resolved. The main issue was that the dynamics in the classroom were really stressful for my kids. Other children would make fun of them, yell at them for no reason, and make life there miserable. Both of my kids tried and were able to make some friends, but every day was still hard on them. My son in particular suffered. The longer he was at the school the more he problems he had, and eventually it became untenable. The school expressed no interest in supporting him or committing to even trying to make it a good environment. He was essentially pushed out. He's a curious and thoughtful kid. He loves learning. He never once got in trouble at the school. Our family is engaged and involved in their education. There was no reason for things to fall apart the way they did. Even the school can't justify it. We gave our daughter the choice to stay if she wanted to since she had friends that she really cared about, but she wanted to leave right away because she had similar issues with other kids that weren't being addressed. I truly believe the teacher and staff at the school care about the kids. I don't know why this didn't translate into a good educational environment, but it didn't. Now my family has to figure out in mid-semester how to manage with two kids at home every day unexpectedly. We're also trying to very hastily figure out what's next for their education. This whole experience has been stressful, but mostly it's just been sad. I wish we never enrolled here.

After less than 1 mth of attending Pebblecreek in 3/2021, the school told us that our 2 yr old isn't able to engage or focus on 1 activity at a time. We told them our child may not be engaging since we spoke 2 languages at home and because she hasn't been in a class setting. The school agreed that our child is behind in her development due to being home for 1 yr as a result of the global Pandemic. However, the more distressing issue was of when our 2 yr old accidentally broke her glass cup while using it during the school's care. Being that our child was never exposed to broken glass, out of a natural curiosity, our child picked up the broken glass & put it in her mouth. Our child wasn't hurt in her mouth, but had a cut on her finger. Pebblecreek blamed our child by saying it's unusual for a 2 yr old to put broken glass in her mouth; instead of taking responsibility. 1 mth prior to attending Pebblecreek, our pediatrician told us at the 2 yr checkup that our child is developing normally & just needed to focus on her speech. However, even after saying this, the head of school continued to question our child's behavior as if she was on the spectrum & eluded that the school was labeling our child as a "problem". We left w/ mixed emotions, but trusted Pebblecreek would help us get our child back on track. We started to only speak English to further help our child to adjust. We also had our child tested for hearing & vision; both came back normal. 5 mths go by & the school told us that our child will be moved to another class w/ a new teacher because the school is expanding their Toddler program. Fast forward to 9/2021, our child's new teacher reached out for a meeting. In this meeting, the head of school told us they can no longer give our child the individual attention she needs, & that we need to pull our child out of their school immediately. Our poor toddler was so stressed out the last several days at Pebblecreek, that she was having toilet accidents. It should be noted that Pebblecreek NEVER told us that our child needed individual attention/help. However, now that our child is at a Different school, she's thriving & growing WITHOUT any additional attention/support that apparently Pebblecreek could not give. Our child is singing & talking in full sentences, joyfully participates in all activities/assignments that her teacher gives her, & socializes w/ 2-4 yr old kids. The Different school knows how to guide/teach kids.

My son has been going to Pebblecreek Montessori for two years. It is a wonderful school. It moved to new location a year ago.The new location is even better than the previous locations, This school has the lowest student to teacher ratio I have seen among the schools in this area. In my son's toddler class, there are 2 teachers taking care of 12 kids. That makes a big difference. Both the teachers are experienced and trained. I am really very happy with this school and the care they provide.

The biggest bullies at this school are the owners. All they care about is money. Children education or wellbeing is not of their interests.

As noted by others, there has been a tremendous amount of staff turnover in the past year since the new ownership took over. The tuition is higher than most in the area, and would be worth it if they could keep their teachers and support staff around, but it doesn't seem like they are able to. We moved our children out.

Pebblecreek is experiencing a tough transition with new ownership and leadership. The elementary program, toddler an infant classes continue to thrive. The primary classes are definitely having a challenging year. The administration is having a difficult time managing these challenges effectively and in a way that stays true to the ideals of the Montessori method and having a hard time with turnover.

When my wife and I started to learn about Montessori, we searched in earnest for a good preschool for our daughter. We looked at several schools, both Montessori and non-, and Pebblecreek was far and away our first choice. They seemed to have it together in a way that the other schools we looked at did not.Our daughter had a hard time adjusting, but her teachers kept us apprised of her disposition and progress, going so far as to text us pictures. Since then, our little girl has blossomed. She takes great pride in the work she does in class, and brings home projects which illustrate the quality of education she's receiving.One thing which I thought was great was instead of a typical birthday party, they have a "Celebration of Life" where the parents are encouraged to bring a photo collage of their child, showing each year of life which we discuss with her class a year a time. This was a very special occasion for our daughter. All in all, I'm very impressed with PCM.

We have two children at Pebblecreek Montessori & have had a wonderful experience. Our oldest started in toddler & is now in Primary, & our youngest is in Infant. In every class, the communication has been consistent & thorough. We left our last school because the main teachers were never there at drop off or pick up & we never received good communication from the assistants in the room. At PCM, we know exactly what our children are doing, where their opportunities are, and where they are excelling. The teachers go above & beyond to talk to us about our children, whether it is through separate meetings or speaking with us before or after school. Even assistant Teachers are fully in-tune with our children and can tell us about their day. The Toddler teacher is amazing; firm, loving, and very in tune with the children. She recognizes when she can push them, and brings in work to customize it for the kids’ level. She also goes above and beyond by having different work regularly to keep it fun and exciting for the kids, while exposing them to different sensory works. We love the primary room just as much as the Toddler room. It is different, but it is perfect for his development & he is learning things I didn’t expect at his age. The teachers are invested in him as a whole person and help us correct behaviors at school and give us ideas to work on them at home. We feel like they are true partners in helping us raise our kids, not just academic teachers. Our youngest has been in infant since he was 3 mos (now 1yr), and the teachers in the room are so very loving! We feel like there are 3 moms watching our baby. At PCM, the babies in the room are held, played with, and responded to quickly. Their days are spent on the floor playing and moving, not in bouncy seats or activity tables. If I ever have any questions or changes in his schedule, the teacher is there every morning to talk to, and they are very flexible on dietary needs. The teacher is always in constant communication with us on his development, milestones, likes, dislikes, wants and needs. We have been very happy here at Pcm and whether it is through coffee with the head of school, parent organization, or a survey, they are looking for our ideas and making changes!

Pebblecreek Montessori is an amazing school. First off, it is a true Montessori, and that is a rare find in Dallas, where Montessori is just a buzz word that schools are putting on their glorified day cares. The next thing you should know is that the quality of the class leads is outstanding. All of the teachers at the school are caring, patient, respectful, and passionate about their jobs. They have literally taught me to be a better parent. My daughter has been there for three years and has reading, communication, and math skills beyond her age level. But more important than that, she is able to think through and solve problems. Where we have been truly blown away is in her character development. At Pebblecreek she has learned to be disciplined without losing individuality, initiative, or confidence. I have made and will continue to make unreserved recommendations to my friends and family for Pebblecreek.

The owner would do anything to trick you and get/keep your money. She is not an honest person, only cares about money. I'm very disappointed with my experiences with Pebble creek.

PCM is an incredible school and I am so happy that I found it for my son. It is one of the very few accredited Montessori schools in the area (not all schools are truly Montessori). My son's in the Spanish immersion class, which I wasn't really able to find anywhere else. The teachers are extremely dedicated and passionate. They take the time to get to know each and every child and the lines of communication are open in this school from the teachers, to the administration, to the front desk staff. They offer lots of after school activities - basketball, soccer, yoga etc. My son LOVES going to school here and often cries when I go to pick him up. I have read some negative reviews about PCM on how they 'badger' parents to donate money, time and effort to a lot of school events - golf tournaments, charity events etc. I appreciate the time and effort that the school puts in to get the entire parent community involved in the school. my son went to another Montessori school a year previous to joining PCM and I am blown away by the dedication and commitment that PCM shows to its students and parents. you can't go wrong in choosing this school for your child.

Pebblecreek brings out the confidence and independence in our children we d hoped it would. Our kindergarten daughter happily walks our toddler daughter to her classroom every day. Both of our daughters are happy at this school. The teachers are excellent and willing to talk with parents any time, even after hours. The students are welcoming and respectful. Our older daughter considers every classmate a friend for the first time in 5 schools she s attended. She loves her teachers, the materials and choosing her work. The head teacher is a native Spanish speaker, so the students experience Spanish immersion. My daughter s Spanish pronunciation is superb. She also has the opportunity interact with 1st-3rd graders daily. It has brought a confidence and maturity in her. In the classroom she engaged in every subject. She is proud to show us her work and explain what she s accomplished. Our toddler has become independent and self-sufficient and her vocabulary has grown immensely. The new head teacher is firm, patient, encouraging and an expert potty trainer. The assistant teacher is wonderful with the kids our daughter considers her a best friend and talks about her nonstop.

I absolutely love Pebblecreek Montessori. If you are looking for a school that really believes in the Montessori philosophy, this is one of the few excellent options. While a lot of schools call themselves Montessori, this one lives and breathes it. There are a lot of Montessori mills in the DFW area and only a handful really practice true Montessori philosophy as Maria Montessori designed. Pebblecreek is one of the few schools that stays true to the mission. Coming to PCM was one of the best decisions for our family. I feel like they are really preparing children to be citizens of the world and good stewards to their communities. It is exactly what I was looking for in a school and I'm glad I found it. Highly recommend.

his school is terrific. We are incredibly picky about Montessori programs and I toured/researched over 8 schools before coming across Pebblecreek. This one passed all of our tests with flying colors. The staff is truly wonderful, very caring and excellent educators. We have 3 children attending there.
