This school is terrible. Their chromebooks don't work, they assign you way too much work (even a class like health with a weightage of 0.5 has tons and tons and tons of work), their school choir is just.....horrible. Overall I would not recommend this school because they don't take time to teach students concepts thoroughly, most of the students are not very friendly to their introverted classmates, and lastly the work they assign is almost too much to bear and mentally straining.

In my time at Fowler, there were many problems with staff. An example of this is the AP's. The APs in this school (not all) are rude and are not helpful. They pick favorites (mostly popular kids) and punish those who aren't. Another example of bad staff is some of the teachers. Some teachers in this school are also rude, however, some of the teachers are nice and helpful. That is not all the problems with this school. Another main problem with this school is the lunch they serve it is inedible and the food should not be served. Overall the school has major problems and I don't recommend going to this school.

This school is amazing. There are never fights or problems of bullying. I love going to the school, and the teachers are excellent. Though favoritism has been noticed, it does not have a huge impact as all the teachers still do care about everyone. This is a great school and I would recommend it.

This is a great school for learning opportunities, but I don't think it is the best for your mental health. There are a few reasons I think this way. First, many teachers favor a small group of students instead of treating everyone equally. Some do this due to grades and the others is due to popularity. Although this sounds like a small issue, it really affects a child due to the lack of attention and ignorance. We wouldn't want this to happen because school is what shapes us to be who we are in the future. Secondly, there's an insane amount of homework that they throw at you without knowing how to do it. The reason I want to go to school is because of how loving the environment is. The school is full of new friends! I have never fallen as a victim of bullying or seen anyone get bullied. Overall, I think there's a sort of balance to this school. You can have fun, but don't stop learning. Just to add on, there is a huge issue with lunch rules. We are not allowed to get up and get lunch at our own time, we don't get to go to the bathroom unless we ask a teacher and they're allowed to say no. Sometimes, me and my friends only get 3 minutes to eat food that's barely edible. I for one think this is absolutely unfair to the students who pay so much for low quality food just so it can be trashed since they have no time whatsoever to eat it. We have to hope the teacher that dismisses us is in a good mood just so we can earn our daily nutrition. I hope we can fix this problem and face that our school isn't as perfect as the teachers want it to be. Most teachers make sure you have a safe place to talk to them, others make you not want to come to school at all.

This school is NOT what it appears to be! The bullying is horrible! The principal and APs don’t do anything about it and blame it on the kid when they are trying to defend themselves. This school also only helps the smart kids! I would not recommend this school!!! They smile in your face and don’t care about your kid unless you can help boost their test score numbers. It truly sad.

I would definitely not recommend this school. when i first came to fowler in 6th grade, the school was great. kids were nice, teachers were helpful, the environment was overall great, but unfortunately this has declined as the years have gone on. kids are constantly neglected and receive an excessive amount of work which is unsuitable for middle schoolers, not even high schoolers recieve this amount. many fights break out at this school, such as different grade levels beating each other up, and many threats. Bullying is a huge part of the environment, as many rumors are spread, even about kids who aren’t considered “popular.” some teachers are bias as well. one time i was feeling nauseous so i asked the teacher to let me use the restroom and they let me. as i was in the restroom, a private space, i text my older sister to see if she can pick me up as my parents are at work . the teacher who let me use the restroom barges into the bathroom and asks for my phone. she then proceeds to take it to the office and give me a detention, even though she knows my intentions. The teachers here are careless and negligent to student mental health and safety. I will say there are a very few decent teachers who did make me feel worthy. many students feel unsafe and uncomfortable, causing them to have misleading thoughts. the school creates extremely high expectations, allows bullying, and neglects children. I believe this school was once prosperous and a great learning environment for students, but has now dwindled into a mentally crushing environment. despite the good student progress and test scores, it is not worth risking a students mental health and possibly life. if you are considering sending a child to this school, please stay away! coming from a current student.

This school has a ton of double standards. It way be good test score but a lot of kids cheat on test and quizzes. The school food is literally cardboard and is not even edible and it cost 3.75 dollars and water isn’t even free. Also my friend once got pasta and it wasn’t even cooked properly also one time I got chicken tenders and there was black inside of it. Also they have this rule that you can’t get up at all in lunch without asking and yell at you the whole lunchtime. Now I hear that they have dumb bathroom rules like the 10-10 rule where you can’t go to the restroom with in the last and first 10 minutes of class. This school is also extremely stressful and packs your after school schedule. Some teacher favor kids how are popular and give them special treatment and advantages. Some staff members do not care as much for the students and are kinda selfish. In this school that do not address actual problems instead they focus on things like fundraiser and way to get the school more money rather than caring for the students. To add on the school never addresses bully the only thing they put was the stop it app that no one uses.

the teachers here are really nice and they do things to benefit your happiness and learning skills and abilities. They try as hard as they can to improve our learning and make the school feel at home for the students!

My daughter has had a good experience in the school

They give so much work and put so much pressure on kids with a sink or swim attitude. All that's really important is academics, much more so than mental wellbeing or a love or learning. It's been very disappointing.

They expect you to put this school above your job, especially for early pickups on work days and if you get detention they will not care about your schedule. (did not happen to me personally but I have seen it happen)

Students with learning differences such as Dyslexia are not given a fair chance with Fowler’s Band. Fifth grade students are approved to play an instrument based on an initial tryout. After the tryout the Band Director researches the kid’s records prior to entering 6th grade. If your child has a learning difference they are discouraged from playing the instrument of their choice. Children are not given a fair chance even if they have previous musical experience. This is not an isolated incident, I have heard from several parents that the band director contacted them and discouraged them from pursuing the instrument of their choice.

Great school, my daughter has gone there for 2 years and will finish her term there as an 8th grader next year. We love the school and couldn't be happier. They have great programs and wonderful staff.
