The only reason it's a 4/5 for me is that they forced kids to sing.

Stratford Road is a great school. My kids love their teachers and most teachers are wonderful. PTA organizes events/activities for kids of all grades and family events are held each year.

Stratford Road is a good school overall. The teachers my child got are all nice and responsible. Some of them went out of their ways to help out when needed. The school organizes many events such as family picnic, concerts, circus that are fun for kids. The musical instruments and art programs are well liked. I feel they don't learn enough math but it's probably not specific to this school. One complaint I have about the school is it's hard to get the school to approve IEP or 504 plan for kids with special needs.

Stratford Rd is excellent.. I do wish it went up to 5 the grade instead of 4th But can't change that now Other then that, teachers are caring and very knowledgeable . There will always be one that u don't care for their personality but as long as the teaching. Skills shine through in the end that's all I can ask for. Out of the 7 yes my kids have been going there. I don't have much to complain about .security is good ,school is clean and office is friendly Scores are good although some parents get worried when they research the school records because they also include the special education scores which sometimes hinders the true score of the rest. And the Septa program is spectacular!

I agree with the above comments concerning that there is no uniformity amongst teachers. The administration do not listen to your concerns. They will appear that they are listening but in the end they do not. More people need to express their opinion otherwise the school will stay the same.

This school is substandard. No uniformity exists among teachers. The administration is not receptive to parents concerns. Much as they are supposed to be using one math program, they continue to use the older outdated program either because they lack the resources or just simply choose not to reflect what is publicized to the parents. The reading program is solid for children who fall below the standard. Those that meet or exceed it are not provided with appropriate instruction. The special area teachers are solid for the most part.
