We have had a terrible experiences with this school my grandson gets bullied on a daily basis from kids in in class cause he's overweight . The principal does nothing about it and the new bus driver is a bully too so over all of them !

My kids love school. They love their teachers. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The nurse is so nice. The specials teachers have been great. My kids have small class sizes and are excelling. All of the schools in Plainfield hand out t shirts every quarter for recognition. It used to be left up to the teacher to pick the kids to recognize, but a few parents complained because their troublemaker kids wouldn’t get a shirt. So now they draw the names from a hat.

I don't like the way they do there t-shirt awards! Bad kids get rewarded for bad behavior! While other kids have never been in trouble once and makes honor roll each time! I think if you're going to call it Excellence in Achievements Actions and Attitude it should not be drawn out of a hat, but be rewarded by Grades actions and Achievements! This needs to change! However the teachers are great and I have enjoyed the family atmosphere in the school! Overall I'd recommend this school!

Brentwood is an outstanding school love the teachers. The teachers work very hard to make sure to give our children the best education ever.

My own children attended Brentwood Elementary and then many of my grandchildren, two are still enrolled. It's an excellent school, does a great job of preparing students for middle and high schools. Some of the teachers who taught my own children have taught my grandchildren -- a really great teaching staff!

My son had a horrible experience at Central last year. We moved to the Brentwood district and we LOVE IT! The principal is very nice and approachable, the front office staff bend over backward to help with whatever you need and the PTA is awesome. Mrs. Edwards, who teaches 2nd grade, is an amazing teacher. I could tell from the first parent teacher con. that she actually understands my son, cares about his learning and does everything she can to make school a positive and fun experience. Last year, my son said he hated school, hated reading and got average grades. This year, with Mrs. E, he loves school, gets straight A's, and is reading (all the time!) well above grade level. Discipline is fair, positive, and focused on changing the behavior, not simply punishment. I cannot say enough good things about this school or Mrs. Edwards!
