Plainfield is an excellent school in our State. The curriculum is great for kids that want to be pushed as well as kids that struggle with academics. I have some of each so I have gotten to see both sides of the learning curve. The teachers go an extra mile to help those who want help. The extra curricular activities are also amazing they have numerous club activities that try to get all kids involved. I have been involved with 4 of the county schools and by far Plainfield ranks at the top of the list. The staff whether it is teachers, custodians, administrators or others always seem to take pride in what they are doing. I have not once heard a teacher counting down the days until school is out. They seem to be passionate about educating our children. I have had 4 children in this school system after moving from another county school. Keep up the great job Plainfield.

Very pleased with how the school handles drug abuse and bullying! There is drug use and bullying anywhere you go now. Plainfield will work with the parents and students on correct discipline and make sure they go for help. Unfortunately not all students and their families take the right action or have a number of offenses. If plainfield school systems are made aware of any drug related issues or bullying they take immediate action! Thank you Plainfield school system for taking care of our children! Unfortunately you can't help them all but the effort is there!

THE TRUTH! Lots of bullying and drug activity goes on here at Plainfield High School. Students are getting suspended/expelled all the time here for drug related problems. and there is a lot of bullying, and the school says they have a "zero tolerance for bullying" that is a lie. They dont do much. about it.

Plainfield HS discriminates against female students. I know this from firsthand experience. I planned to take social science classes that were requirements for graduation during my freshman year in hopes of having a chance to graduate a semester early. My counselor (a male) told me he believed girls my age should take another year of Home Economics. He removed the social science classes from my plan and put me in a third year of Home Ec. I did not get to graduate from high school a semester early. I did get opportunities to pursue a career and an advanced degree in science after moving out of Indiana.

This school only cares about it's 4/5 star school status. The Teachers have way to much authority. It's only focus is on sports. It does a poor job at correctly things that are bad. If you are into sports you can get away with anything, it's all over looked. But if you are just a regular student then you will get disciplined. It's sad how the kids really don't matter if you aren't someone with money or into sports.

As parents we are very pleased with the school system in Plainfield. The teachers go above and beyond, there are a huge number of events/programs for our kids to enjoy/stay out of trouble, and they push a high level of education and morals.

Plainfield High School is what you make of it. I am currently a sophmore and there is a many classes to chose from. The school does a good job getting inbetween students when needed. The school lets you learn and develop as a student and person. They try to stay out of other students business because they are busy trying to give us the best of the best. They make sure to discipline the ones that are causing major problems.

The kids are great but the head principal seems aloof from the students. She is apathetic regarding fair treatment of staff and students. The aqdministration cares only about funding, test scores, and what looks good on paper. THey make np effort to find the truth when any incident occurs.
