By the way a Past student here. So, I attended there until the 8th grade. I would say the school was fine, I didn't really get that much homework really, well, sometimes which was annoying and stressful. But anyway, the teachers were good some were nice, kind, respectful, supportive, etc. While, others were scary, mean, and would yell at a student across the cafeteria because they were either: throwing trash, going to another friends table (just to talk to them) etc. So, some negative stuff here: 1. (Some) Rules in the cafeteria were a little too strict 2. Some teachers were scary, mean, or just a bad teacher altogether 3. BRING BACK THE SNACK LINE (THEY GOT CLOSED BECAUSE OF COVID NOT SURE IF IT'S OPEN NOW OR NOT) IT WAS AMAZING IT HAD ICE CREAM and finally, 4. Sometimes drama/fights would happen sometimes (I saw them happening in the Cafeteria like 3 times?) and I would say that's it!! :))

The teachers are pretty good. Behavior is becoming an issue though (but might be the same at most schools). When there are fights and the kid is in the next class, makes many think that fights are okay (along with many other behavior issues). As much as I enjoy this school, I am sure I am not being properly prepared for a future in high school.

This school is TRASHY. They don't care about anybody's feelings or opinions. I'm a student and I don't even wan't to go to school anymore. I don't feel safe. DO NOT, consider this school as a choice for your children.

Both my son and daughter attended this school. My kids both were in sports and clubs. My daughter is going to be a Freshman at Oswego East and is prepared and excited. The teachers are so supportive and I thank you for the great job you did for my family.

This school is AMAZING! The teachers are very supportive and helpful! The one issue with the school is a program called AVID were most students are required to carry around a three-inch binder for supplies. Otherwise, this is a great school and will guarantee a great middle school experience!

This school is top notch! Excellent leadership, fantastic programs in advanced subject matter, the arts, sports and overall good character. I had two children go through Murphy and I couldn't be happier with their education and overall experience. Teachers care about the kids and treat them like family=kids enjoy school!

Murphy Junior High is an awesome school, you learn so much stuff. For example: Art, Choir, Cooking class, etc. Students get to do so many hands on stuff, I lost track. The sports after school are awesome, there is so many also. For example: Soccer, Basketball, Track, Intramural, etc. What I like about the school is the community. The students are very nice, hardly see any bulling. The school couldn't improve any better, it's great the way it is. The teachers are so nice, they will help after school and before school if need be. The staff are also great in many ways. I have been going to Murphy for both years it has opened and it feels hard leaving such a great school. Murphy is in a very nice neighborhood. Parents get to help with bake sales for dances, sign up for PTO, and chaperone for field trips. There are awesome assemblies every quarter of the school year, to get the whole school together of what we accomplished, sports, and more. Sincerely, student from Murphy Junior High.

Simply awesome. The 6th grade Honors LA program is tops. Teachers are caring, and there are a lot of extra-curricular activities for kids to participate in. My daughter truly enjoys going to school.

This is my daughter's second year in this school, and it has been one of my best experiences with the school staff and teachers. My two older kids attended a city school in Chicago, and by far, there is no comparison. My daughter enjoys going to school every day and participates in many activities.

Our son started in this school this year and we have been seeing all great things, in both academics and sports.
