The communication is great. I really appreciate the use of social media to keep us updated and involved. Everyone that we come in contact with is open and welcoming.

Sunnyslope elementary is a wonderful school. I have 3 children in various grades and have been attending for the last 5 years. Each one of their teachers are great. They are challenged and encouraged to be the best they can be everyday! Sunnyslope feels more like family, a family that cares and wants our children to succeed. Parents are given the opportunity to attend "Kids at Hope Day". This happens a couple times a year. Parents are allowed to spend the day with their kids in the classroom!! To me - this is amazing! Thank you Sunnyslope for taking such great care of my family!! In my opinion - Sunnyslope should be 10/10.

Many positive programs have been put in place for the success of the students and parent involvement.

My experience at Sunnyslope Elementary has been extremely disappointing. The principal at Sunnyslope Elementary discourages parent involvement, which I think is key to a child success. The Principal also does not take the time to get to know the children on a personal level and his approach to discipline is extreme with little effort to resolve the underlying issue. In addition he is extremely difficult to communicate with.

it was a miserable week. my son had a heart condition that made learning a little harder for him and I feel that this teacher had very little compassion, tolerance, and patience for him and she probably would have ignored him had his heart given him trouble. I'm glad I pulled him out when I did. not ALL teachers deserve raises
