All teachers and principal turn a blind eye to bullying while it’s happening and in the aftermath. It is impossible to contact anyone or get on the school grounds. The secretary in the office is always rude and unhelpful. The food is constantly terrible - and my kid will eat anything. Teachers keep quitting, to the point where the other teachers all have an excuse exponential anoint of students than they started the year with. Lack of discipline or boundaries create a lack of respect for the teachers by kids and parents. Little to no family inclusion. Teachers constantly complain about the conditions and excuse themselves from teaching the children. I am doing curriculum teaching with my child after school so they don’t fall behind and am taking them out of Solano. They take in expelled students mid year and let them run free, being violent. Multiple children have thrown steel water bottles and other children’s heads, throwing chairs, hitting teachers and other kids. No consequences for assaults and no accountability on teachers for the safety of their students.

My 5 year old went here after never being in any daycare or pre school of any sort. By the end of the school year she still can not count past 12 confidently and gets her abc’s mixed up. We have a lot of outside issues to where it was hard for us as parents to work with her so to other important needs she had as well but most kids can count past 30 for 1st grade and understand abcs and basic math. This whole grade was failing and the teacher blamed Covid. To have a class of 20+ kids fail and the school not notice or care is outrageous. In the beginning of the year we had issues with the older kid boys running into the younger kids bathrooms and bullying kids. One little girl stood up to the bullies but the teacher and school did absolutely nothing as we kept hearing about it from our student. The lack of communication on what they are working and doing is also outstanding. I had friends with kids in pre k who has full schedules of their day and a weekly update on their learning even if it changed. The giant red flag issue I had was the whole year I signed my student out the only person who made sure I was able to take her was the librarian who was filling in for the normal guy at the counter. He never ID me once. Anyone could have went in and walked into my students school and taken her. I’m sure there were more issues. However it’s been about a year and we pulled them out for a new school. Do not go here.

I must say moving from out of state I thought I did enough research to make sure I allowed my kids to go to a great school....after reading so many reviews I came to the conclusion to have them attend here which is why I moved so close to it. I must say it has been one of the most worst mistakes of my life....my son was moved around to so many teachers within the three months...then he was placed into a class where the teacher stated to me different things that my son was doing (Which was out of his character) and I asked her not to wait so long to tell me to call me and when she did I would answer even if I was at work....it got to the point where I had to start showing up at the school every morning because kids were taking his lunch (that I packed for him) and bullying him at school(hitting and kicking him in places boys shouldn't touch) and he would go and tell her and he would try to punish him for it like it was his problem....tgere were a few times I would take off work to see how he was doing in class and I would let her know I was coning next day and she would try to talk me out of coming and then she would call off the next morning so she didn't have to see me....i don't believe she care to much for my son but try to put a bad rep on him when in actuality she was the only one whom had a problem with him....everyone else adored him and never complained about anything....he would come home and tell me things that were more like belittling him which of course was unexceptble and I had to hold many different meetings with her...and everytime I came and picked him up from school they could never tell me where he was....this school has made my experience the worst ever.....some teachers and staff are actually caring and want to help....just with this one teacher has made my experience feel a different type of way....good luck on your experience with with school

We are a new family to Solano School. We have been quite happy with what goes on at the school. We have been greeted with warm smiles and open arms. Information comes readily, and the most important thing is that are children come home talking and excited about thier school day and all that has gone on. They love all the teachers and staff, the playground, the classes and even the cafeteria food. We are very happy with our decision to take our children to Solano School in the Osborne School District in Phoenix Arizona

I am a former student. My daughter has been at Solano the last 2 yrs. We did have issues in 3rd grade. However, Mrs. Epps handled them right away. My daughter did not have another issue. She is now in 4th grade. All the teachers know her. They think she is a wonderful student. My daughter will talk about how great her day was and the teachers are wonderful. I would not remove her from this school at all. It has not changed since I went there. Its wonderful
