This is a pretty good school but could be heavier on the safety.

It was great school several years ago when my oldest child attended it. Teachers and counselors were great, supportive and created really inspiring and supportive environment.Last two years school is going down the hill. Counselors neglect to what’s going on at school and neglect to kids needs making the school time awful. They destroying kids motivation and make them feel that nobody cares what is going on with kids at school. Unbelievable how quick some people can ruin what was build before their time. Unprofessional school counseling is nothing good for kids and for school itself.

Amazing school! Not sure why it got such a low score, especially all the students who go here come from the high rating Elementary school and also go to the high rating Hopewell Valley High School afterward, great teachers and environments!

The rating doesn't reflect the right view. This is really a good school and somewhere 4 rating is unjustified. Need to look at it and fix it. My own experience says this is awesome school.

If you are wondering how a school district with elementary schools that are ranked 8-10 and a high school that is ranked an 8 has a middle school that is ranked a 4, please take a look at the schools state ranking over the last 10 years. In 2006, the school was 91.8% (so in the top 10 percent of the state's middle schools) and in 2016 it ranked 42.2%. From 2007-2014, the schools ranking was a little lower or higher than it was in 2006 (range 84.5% to 93.6%). It is only the last two years that the school wasn’t highly ranked. Why? It’s the same kids going from four highly ranked elementary schools into the middle school then into a highly ranked high school, so what happened? From what I hear from my son who is a student at the middle school, a lot of middle school kids protested the unpopular new PARCC standardized test by randomly filling in answers to multiple choice questions and writing one word answers to essay questions.
