I would give this school zero stars if I could. I have never in my life came across a school so terrible. I would run far from this school. The principal hangs up on you when you are concerned asking why your child sat in the hall unattended for a long time for talking to himself (Autism) and was left in soiled pants all day. They leave your child is soiled pants and don’t even call you so sad. They don’t follow IEPS. They made my son who has a genetic disorder involving his bones and muscles walk until he couldn’t feel his legs/feet or breathe at recess and had to go to the nurse and didn’t get a phone call and this was because he swept a couple cheez its on the floor, again he’s special needs. They do nothing but traumatize your child and do nothing to help your child. I could write a book about it. But I would just rather tell you to run not walk. Save your children from the torture they believe in.

LOVE the school, how involved they are HOWEVER I was very disappointed to see my second grader amongst her class told to sit on cold concrete while they wait for their parents to pick them up while bus riders get to stay inside where it’s warm. It was snowing. Had been snowing for an hour even while they were out for recess. Where I’m from, the children stay inside when there is snow. The small children stay INSIDE all year actually. until their name is called to be sent out. The same process that you have now except the littles wait INSIDE where they won’t get sick. What if a parent is late or involved in an accident, the child has to sit outside of the building waiting? Even while it’s snowing? Aside from this one concern. Love how sweet the teachers are! Buses are the most reliable: I would understand bus riders waiting outside but not car riders who can only be released one at a time. That is a LONG line to wait in

Love this school. Every teacher is engaged and so patient and kind. One teacher in particular has helped our little guy above and beyond. He looks forward to his meetings with Sharon Gray. She does an awesome job. Can't tell her enough how grateful we are for all of her hard work!

My husband and I love this school! Mr Lord is a very evolved principal. The teachers are amazing. We know our children are getting a great education in a safe place where the staff really cares about our kids!

The teachers are great and my kids get the same teacher two years in a row, that really helped. My kids ISTEP test scores are great. 100 in most sections. I don't know why this school isn't rated a 10.

My son is Autism Spectrum and the teacher's at Maple Ridge have bent over backwards to help him. They say you are only as good as your leader and I believe that. Mr. Lord the principal is not only a good leader and supportive of children and staff, he is also a good person. I feel like my child is safe, secure and learning all he should here. What a blessing this school is for any child. Thank you Maple Ridge for going the extra mile for our children!!!! You are all a blessing.

All six of my grand daughters have attended and excelled at Maple Ridge Elementary. They have all enjoyed their teachers and principal, Mr Lord. Mr Lord is a caring and engaged leader. He supports his teachers and students in a very positve manner. The staff at Maple Ridge have been friendly and helpful. Great Job! Great School!

I could not be happier with Maple Ridge! My daughter loves to go to school every day. The principal Mr Lord is wonderful. He stands in front of the school rain or shine to greet kids and parents. The experience I have had with the teachers and office staff have been very positive as well!
