Strongly don’t recommend this school. Lack of holding kids accountable for bullying is a joke, process for handling situations is a joke and interrogating kids without presence of a parent or legal guardian is a joke which includes failure to provide details per each instance for bullying. This is coming from own child being constantly bullied but students and teachers. Some teachers are honestly good and decent human beings that do care about the kids, but a lot are two faced, treat kids poorly, high lack of taking ownership for their own poor actions, singling children out and angry towards parent when try to get details on what happened. Have tried reaching out to principal multiple times for help with problems with teachers, bullying, etc. and only advises to talk to the teachers , but doesn’t help any further than that. I’m just so over this school and highly don’t recommend to anyone. My child wouldn’t have had to go there this year, if the other schools tried to get into weren’t full already for the 22-23 school year.

I love this school. They are learning at grade level, and they love it and feel safe and cared for. Pine Lane is the perfect school for our kids.

Excellent! They have great communication with what the children are learning in the classroom so parents can facilitate at home for a truly successful student! Thanks!!

We have had students at Pine Lane for the last 10 years. The culture at the school is supportive and loving while not only being educational but also helping the students to develop strong character traits.

PLE has been great for our children and they genuinely enjoy going to school! It is evident ALL of the staff at PLE adore the students as well; bus drivers, ancillary and support staff included. The “specials” classes are always a favorite. The mental health staff also makes visits to the classrooms to help kids build important social and emotional skills and tackle important issues. It has been a joy to see all the hard work and effort the staff puts into supporting their students. They work very hard to greet the students in the morning by name, making each of them feel special. The teachers take special care to individualize learning to each student as much as possible within the classroom. Their special programs are great and they truly have the child and families interests at heart. PLE PTO is always working hard to help the school and engage the community through special programs, fundraisers, and events. Special favorites include Trunk or Treat, Wish Week/Spirit Week, Kids Night Out for a Cause and the Bear Crawl. The teachers really do an amazing job getting the students involved in things they can be passionate about. The yearly carnival is one example of this, it’s purpose is to raise funds for global environment issues and is completely constructed and run by the students with support of teachers and families. The principal and leadership team make it a priority to be available and hear any feedback from families. They periodically host events for parents to come and discuss needs or concerns with the principal. They also continually seek parent and community feedback during their open SAC (School Accountability Committee) meetings every month, using this information to potentially make changes and improvements to the school. PLE is a great fit for our kids and even though we have moved within the district we continue to choose to open enroll at PLE. After several years at PLE, we truly do feel like family and are grateful to be a part of the PLE crew!Special thanks to Mrs. Lintelmann, Ms. Condron, Mrs. Kawamura, Mrs. Curfman, Mrs. Franks, Mrs. Kallsen, Mrs. Wilde, Mrs. DeRose, Mrs. Caster, Mr. Stairs, Dr. Jennings, Mr. Spencer, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Gammel, Kevin, Chester, Eldon, Maria, Linda, Barb, and all the preschool, SSN, OT, ST, specials, and support staff! You are all appreciated!

Pine Lane has been a fantastic school for both of my children. There is a strong sense of community, and the staff has been nothing but fantastic to our family. I have been very impressed with teaching methods, and the growth I've seen in my children.

-10 NEGATIVE! So much bad to say about this school. One thing that is awful is refusing kids potty breaks during recess saying they should’ve gone before recess. Several other parents had and still have this issue at Pine Lane.

We've had our daughter here 3 years now and love it. We've had a few challenges with one individual, but the school as a whole is great. Awesome general ed teachers, great specials and awesome support staff. Great leadership too. We had to work with the Principal on an issue and he's made sure that it was resolved. Happy this is where our kids go and will continue to attend school.

We h ave enjoyed our two years at Pine Lane. Our son has learned and continues to enjoy school. We have had wonderful interactions with the principals, speech teachers, specialists, office staff, and especially his classroom teachers. Our son's teachers truly care(d) about him and his development. They challenge(d) him to do his best and encourage(d) him along the way. Thank you Pine Lane for a great start to his schooling career!

Horrible school! I haven't had a positive or good experience with any of my children's teacher's. Every teacher I've dealt with seems like it's just a job to them; It doesn't seem like there's that drive for knowledge.. Also, Poor Lack of communication. My kids also feel the same way unfortunately. I'm really considering a different school for my kids the only reason I haven't is because of the school being close and convenient (transportation) I hate pine lane! Wouldn't recommend pine lane to anyone.

To be honest I have always loved this school. But this year is just a nightmare. Two of the 6th grade teachers should be talked to. They didn't let my son have a Christmas party and now they won't even allow a valentines party. I can not even begin to express how angered I am. That is beyond ridiculous. They are saying that they are in middle school which they are not. The teacher thinks it is all about her. Don't you think you should try to make a kids last year of elementary school fun. But no not these teachers. They also have these student aids and I feel sorry for whoever gets those teachers next year. Always mean and making the kids late to lunch. I am just beyond furious with these teachers and they should be talked to. I am sorry for writing such a horrible review but those teachers I can't even begin to like. And my poor son has to watch the three other six grade teachers have these huge parties and of course he ended up with these teachers. I don't know what I did wrong to get them. I thought I was doing my son good requesting them but I am like crying just writing this because of how horrible they are. I am sorry pine lane that you have hired these teachers.
