Our family has had a positive experience with our 3 kids who have gone to PGE. I would encourage any families who want to know more about the school to come in for a visit and see for yourself!

I strongly encourage prospective parents to familiarize yourself with all options. There are some amazing charter schools in Parker. This should be a LAST RESORT school due to severe administration problems and bullying of parents by teachers and admins.

We are very excited for the 2018- 2019 school year to start! We have always loved this school, the staff and administration- it has been a great fit for our family!

Awesome. I love this school. I think the administration is very caring and knowledgeable. They always put the students first. My experience with this school has been that the teachers, with the exception of a few who always seem to be in high drama situations of their own making, are very happy to be part of the staff. Also, I have found that a small group of parents seem to generate most of the problems, not the staff or students. If you are looking for a school that always shows care and concern for their students and their educational growth, then I encourage you to visit Pine Grove and see what you think for yourself.

I have had three kids attend Pine Grove. We could not be happier with our experiences. We have had two different teams of admin and both have been amazing. My two older boys are in HS and middle school and are thriving due to the education they received at Pine Grove. My daughter is in 5th grade and we could not be happier with her journey. Pine Grove Elementary is a family. They truly care for their students. The teachers are amazing. The admin is so involved and supportive. We moved into Stonegate because of Pine Grove's amazing reputation and they have truly lived up to our expectations. I highly recommend this school to any family!!!!

Go elsewhere with this administration they don't care and drag this district down.

This was a wonderful neighborhood school for many years but it is sliding down hill fast. Some of the experienced teachers that have remained are good teachers but the majority are new. Maybe because they are new they feel they have to go along with the politics but that is no excuse. And there a re A LOT of politics. If you volunteer A LOT your kid will make honor society. Otherwise good luck. Also, the new principal gives the teachers no support. Perhaps the change in leadership explains some of the new politics as well.

Wonderful school. My son choiced in from California. They were welcoming like family from day one. I am always greeted with a smile from the front desk staff. Excellent EXPERIENCED teaching staff. Some have been teaching 18+ years. I've seen a tremendous focus on literacy and science. They make good use use of computers but definitely do not overuse them. They still teach cursive in 3rd grade! I still get paper math dittos and paper writing samples back. So, I can easy monitor his progress. Outstanding RTI staff. Kudos to the Stonegate Community. Beautiful school location. Ample playground. Very well cleared streets, when it snows. A+.

We have had excellent teachers for the past 4 years. We feel very fortunate that this is our neighborhood school. Our children are thriving and we can see that the teachers are working with them to assess their individual needs to supply help or harder work when necessary. We would highly recommend!

We've chosen this school for 5 years. The decline in leadership and good educators is quite apparent, as is the 100 point drop in their school testing & ranking in the last year alone. Such a shame to see the continuous revolving door and exodus of students and faculty. The cafeteria constantly runs out of pre-ordered food, there is little communication from teachers unless it's a party sign-up, journals are not signed or even brought home anymore, and we're missing homework lists, etc. required to complete the homework lessons....it's a complete joke. I requested a teacher conf. over a month ago with no response. I would follow-up but we've just decided to move on. Everyone here has checked out on these kids and it's pitiful. See the stats for yourself before considering enrollment. You will need to be involved at a home-school level for success.

Great school celebrating 20 years! My son has had great teachers with a focus on respecting yourself, your community and your environment. They are building the foundation to strong learning and leadership skills.

I went to this school from 2000-2006. It is a very good elementary school and almost all of the teachers were amazing when I was there! Of course being many years ago I'm sure there are new teachers. There was one teacher who used to teach art at the time I attended who was not interested in teaching kids at all. She complained about having to teach to children and only wanted to teach because she loved art. The principal at the time I attended (Dave Minter) who is now retired, personally targeted some of the kids in his school and tried to punish and scare them repetitively. We are talking about elementary school kids who make lots of errors and a lot of the time don't know consequences to their actions. He could have disciplined students in his school in such a better way. A elementary school principal should never be personally targeting or intimidating kids.

Pine Grove is a wonderful school; it's our third year at Pine Grove, and we're so happy with this school, so we didn't want to trade it for a charter school.Teachers are awesome; they always consider child's individual needs. Frequent teacher-parent conferences help to maintain close connections with the families. Administrative staff is always friendly and helpful. School doesn't tolerate bullying and promotes healthy life style to its students. Lots of after school activities. It is the best school in the county.

This school cares a lot about academics, which is certainly important. They fail, however, to teach/address appropriate social skills, which is also extremely important. Bullying IS a problem and there is little/no diversity in this school. All the parents drive the same cars, it seems that every family has one "at home" parent, and families that don't fit the mold, plain don't fit in and aren't welcomed. It does have a positive affect on "parent involvement" but working parents are judged for "not caring" about their child. This is poor leadership by the parents and certainly discourages the acceptance and diversity this school needs. The current principal, Mrs. Gnaegy has invested time in working with my child's specific needs which is so greatly appreciated and a first step in repairing my opinion of the school, but more work is needed from the school and from the families in this neighborhood to round out the experience this school offers its students.

Every teacher we've had at this school has been amazing and my gifted child has thrived here. There is tremendous involvement by parents who volunteer hours each week. I couldn't have picked a better school than Pine Grove, and can't wait for my younger child to attend there too.

Pine Grove is an excellent elementary school! We moved here with the hope that this community/school would be a good fit for our family, and we have been very pleased with both! The school has been absolutely wonderful! I am so impressed with how many parents are involved and volunteer in the classroom! The children are bright, positive learners! I am very impressed with this school, and am hoping for the absolute best with the new principal; Mr. Minter has great shoes to fill!
