This school is horrible. It is overrated and a 6th grade kid got beat up until he started bleeding. Our kid gets bullied nearly every day. The council do absolute nothing about bullying and ignore bully reports COMPLETELY. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!

School is over rated. They are selective for who they punish and severity of punishment. The ratio in the classroom are unmanageable. Not recommended for the amount of stress to anyone.

In my experience, the teachers that have taught me seem like they have no interest in whether I am learning or not. It seems they are just there to get paid. Some teachers obviously show dislike towards kids and working with them. The students have no self control and can find anything to judge you about, which the staff and administrators don't help with at all. No one at the school is very understanding of the students and say they want the kids to be their best selves, but just say that when parents are around to get good ratings. Teachers are very biased, and they give extra credit out to their favorite students. One of the teachers has made many students put in grades and grade other students work - basically do his job for him. Dress code on girls is way too strict, and instead of giving girls a hard time they should teach boys to respect their female peers. During lunch, the staff forces kids to stay seated all throughout lunch until the last ten minutes. Social media is also prohibited during the day. I would strongly recommend to not bring your child to this school, because they will most likely end up with anxiety and/or depression, and develop a lower self-esteem for constantly being judged.

I feel this school is over rated!!!! Kids get dropped off in time and double doors in the front are locked, The staff sees these kids getting dropped off and still proceed to lock them out and make them go thru the office wasting the kids time. Lunch is too strict for these middle school kids. They should be aloud to just get up and use the bathroom if needed, not have to raise there hands to ask for permission. Or permission either to purchase more food. The staff is very rude not friendly at all! I feel Jackson Heights was a much better school letting the kids learn on their own and letting them feel a little more grown up, not Like chiles middle making you feel like your still in Elementary school!

My child is in the middle of her 1st year at this school. VERY frustrating! We have health issues and CAN NOT get anyone to ever address them. We get no emails back or phone calls from the teachers or the guidance office.
